I have been trying to declutter to become a minimalist. I am feeling really tired and overwhelmed with life too, and I just wanted to say this video was really helpful for me to watch today. Thank you for sharing your process ❤
Don’t worry about colors. Wear the ones you find look best on you and make you happy. Most people probably don’t look good in all colors of the palette. If you feel you are an autumn then both soft autumn and warm autumn will look good. You can use both palettes so you have even more colors to choose from ☺️ I think I’m some kind of spring. Probably true spring, but my temperature is close to neutral. I can borrow some autumn colors, the greens, and I can wear most of the more neutral spring colors. Too warm, too bright and too light isn’t good but it’s better than cool, soft and deep. I thought I was a summer or winter originally, because I was sure I was cool. So most of the colors in my wardrobe are a bit wrong for me.
Just want you to know that you’re my absolute favorite youtuber..it doesn’t matter what you post, I’ll watch it! I just love your personality and you have an energy that just makes people feel good! Honestly I totally understand whatcha mean about what colors “ look good” on you. And I feel like the best way to go about this is to focus on how u feel when u try on all the colors and then Ull know which ones u want to wear rather than “ should wear” .. I always loved wearing red but now I’m older and I’m not drawn to it anymore even though it looks good on me. And I now love yellow even if it may not be my color. Idk feelings change. Just try em all ❤
my suspicion is that I'm a soft autumn... it's super close to summer colorings and has some lighter colors (including lighter blues) but I'm pretty certain I'm warm toned because I have been blonde my whole life and the time I tried to go close to platinum... it washed my whole face out LOL 😂 but honestly at this point I have no clue and I'm just wearing stuff that I think looks good on me bc I spent half the year thinking I was a warm autumn and I definitely am not😩

Hope this helped with the mood.. decluttering always helps me improve my mindset. Also when I’m on the fence with clothes, it always helps me to try it on.. always after trying it on, I’ll know right away.
My rules of getting things done is having a routine. Like cleaning once a wk, grocery shopping every Tuesday, etc. and I always get my responsibilities done before I relax for the day. It’s rlly tough for me to get things done if I relax first. You could prob be feeling the same? I’m not adhd tho lol
yeah 😅 in an ideal world, that's what I would love to do, and I've tried creating schedules, but it's really difficult for me to stick to them or remained focused/energized enough to do the task😩 allowing myself to go between resting and getting tasks done has been a way to take some of the shame out of getting things done, but on some days, the resting lasts a little too long :(
@@gracenevitt yeah it's hard to get things done when you're always tired. We put our all into work and just wanna come home to relax becuz that's our place of rest. But the fact that u have to keep up the house too... 🙄
Hi Grace, you couldn't make a boring vlog if you tried. I always enjoy the vlogs that you do, although in this one I really wanted you to stop and rest because you look so totally exhausted. Are you feeling a bit burnt out? The views we had of your home today really showed how much less cluttered it has become with all that you have been doing. I'm wondering if you might find things easier if you didn't try to do so much at once. You might want to get things done, but slow progress is still progress and it can be less overwhelming. Focusing on removing items from your home as quickly as you can before you declutter any more would take some pressure off and create space in your mind and home. I have recently started trying to declutter something each day as it crosses my mind. I have a central place where I keep these things and they are removed from our home frequently. Recording the things that we sell/declutter/throw out and how many (on my computer) gives me an instant feeling of progress and a dopamine hit as I see the number growing. I hope you feel better soon. 🤗
