Having done a lot of travel by bike I learnt that getting up early and doing as much distance before lunch means you can then have an easier afternoon, have the time to refeed properly and find camp for the night. Regularly going to bed late will quickly catch up with you. Good luck!!!

Love the motivation for why you started it! And what a challenge it is, cause I can imagine it being rough both mentally and physically at certain points, but what a personal achievement it will be when you arrive in Vietnam. Safe travels!

@Chubbytrekka You went through my town along Will Adams Way! He was a traveller like yourself ;-) The first englishman to reach Japan and then wasn't allowed to leave. He has quite an interesting story tbh. Originally from Gillingham, hence all the roads and other places named after him around there. He was also apparently the third Englishman to get to Vietnam...so pretty fitting that you took that road :-)

Ed Pratt just did a source to sea adventure and he did a unicycle journey across the entire country of Latvia
MATE! You've currently got 3.74k subs. This journey could and should be massive for you. I'm going to sub right away and turn on notices. Be consistent, be you, dont use any silly background music, seek improvement as you go and I suspect you'll have 50-100k+ subs by the time you get to Vietnam.

Hey check out altra shoes if your feet are still bothering you. I walked the camino frances a few months back and i had to ditch my boots because they kept giving me blisters. Altra has a wide toe box and your feet are gonna change a lot if you make it thru this journey. Take good care of them and good luck to you. Also if you changing your socks out like twice a day can help too.
