As a skinny nerd in the 80s, I didn't really have the health issues you did. I did have more than my fair share of bullying though so I know how tough that was. I love your content but moreso, you seem like a standout genuinely good guy and that's what I enjoy seeing too. You've got a family that loves you and you share that love back - doesn't matter how big your channel gets, they'll always be #1 in your eyes as it should be.

I definitely have felt this way at very many points in life, where there is just no drive to do anything outside of the daily routine of work and working out wasnt a priority. I Just started to think about how to make healthier choices, but glad you have gone in the right direction and being healthier is such a great feeling. I need to put in the work and get in better shape! Thanks for sharing bro ❤

Thank you so much for being so vulnerable and sharing your story. Life is epically tough and it's okay not to be okay. I have had my battles with depression, weight gain, weight loss and pretty tragic self-esteem issues. Gaming saved me, it saved me from myself. When I started 4-5 years ago I was at an all-time low. Just going through the paces and barely getting through the day. You're right though, it needs to be in moderation and it can't be all consuming because that in and of itself is damaging as well. I'm happy you're sharing this message! Hopefully it finds anybody and everybody that needs to hear it ❤

The key is balance. Do what you need to do- college, gym, house upkeep etc then do what you want to do-gaming, 💨🪴, chill etc

You are not alone and although my struggle with weight is not to the same extend I can relate on not feeling good and not being happy with where I am at. However I always have tomorrow to make a change and everyday after, so thank you.

Wow man this was really inspiring thank you so Mutch for sharing this I’m currently in the same boat minus the depression and all of that although I did used to have that but my weight is kinda bad I’m not super fat or obese it’s just that I’m overweight and trying to keep myself healthy but I’m slowly getting just wanted to say that your the best RU-vidr that I know of and I’m still thinking about joining RU-vid to make content because I really want to join the retro game community I am a HUGE fan of video games and retro video games so I would love to join but I can’t thank you enough rect for sharing this life comes at us hard sometimes we all been there but I’m really glad that your doing well just wto let you know that your my favorite retro video game channel ever I would really love to talk to you sometime if you would be ok with that still trying to find that discord server so we can talk but remember your the best
