Imagine being the mother of the cookie clicker protagonist when he reincarnates on his final ascension. The doctor is like "congratulations, it's a-" and before he can even finish his sentence the entire universe and all parallel universes amalgamate into one apocalyptic cookiescape where time and space has no meaning. You helplessly look on as your baby tends crops, manipulates banks, dragons and even gods, breaks reality itself, clones himself, performs dark rituals and then sacrifices every last thing in this twisted world of his own creation to somehow produce more cookies then there are atoms in the observable universe in less then 10 seconds. Then he mutters "....still not enough" and blinks out of existence to try again in another reality. Now try and tell me that cookie clicker isn't actually a lovecraftian horror game.

We got this game banned at our highschool because someone fried their Chromebook playing it for 14 days straight. He never closed it and used an oscillating fan to keep his mouse active at night, just kept the the laptop on the charger the entire time.

List of achievements that Seanie decided not to do: Getting the builds to level 10 (besides Farms and Cursors). Which includes 18 achievements. Harvest a Caramelized Sugar Lump. Click 7777 Golden Cookies. Shadow Achievements: Harvest a Golden Sugar Lump. Click 27777 Golden Cookies. Have your stock market profits surpass a whole year of CpS ($31,536,000). Ascend with exactly 1 trillion cookies. Manage a cookie legacy for at least a year. There is also 2 Shadow Achievements that are not actually Achievement. They are more like a proof the gameplay is not 100% legit: Cheated cookies taste awful - Seanie does not have this one, it means he didn't cheat. Third-party - Seanie for some reason have this one, it means he used an add-on. He got this achievement somewhere between <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="3552">59:12</a> and the end of the video.

that’s kinda an exaggeration, it takes 7 attempts on average and even if you don’t dedicate too much time to the game you can at least leave the setup with woodchips overnight and do at least 1 generation per day, so two weeks would already be pretty unlucky

Cookie Clicker: is the first idle clicker game Other idle games: begin existing Cookie clicker: i'm gonna use these to make cookies. This is an idle game where you can hijack other idle games realities to make cookies! It's not even meta anymore, it's referencing the existence of other games in the genre that it (nearly?) singlehandedly spawned. That's like if there was a Minecraft block that canonically contained the entirety of Terraria, and another one that contained the entirety of Roblox, and then you built your base out of them.

@@masterofdoots5965 On steam web cookies are a debug item and on web steamed cookies are a debug item since the saves can be transferred between both versions you can have both cookies by transferring between the 2. The one from the version you arent playing will display as a debug upgrade which you normally can only get from enabling debug mode

For those asking, it's whatever the cookie is fir the version you're not playing They fo nothing except show up as debug upgrades, and is theoretically only possible by putting web cookies on the permanent upgrade slot snd transferring your save file to the steam version I say theoretically because from my admittedly low amount of research, it seems it's actually not possible to do this snd you still need to cheat but maybe it is possible and i just didn't look too deep into it (spoiler: i absolutely didn't)

@Skarfar90 Using cheats I wanted to see how far I could go until eventually I got to infinite. Now the funny thing is: Everything was free. I could not go above or below infinity. Nothing mattered If I ascended, I would still have infinite cookies, but the game would never stop trying to make me lose cookies. I had to fully restart the game to get rid of this infinite cookies. I could get infinite amounts of buildings UNTIL the buildings themselves started to cost infinite cookies, so I could not purchase any more of them.

For anyone foolish enough to attempt this. The browser version lets you have multiple tabs up for hunting for rare spawns. Cuts the work for some of the harder achievements down significantly.

However, on steam you can have steam achievements. I LIVE for steam achievements. (I wouldnt do stuff like carry the gnome all the way through hl2 ep2 unless there was a cool shiny square I get to see for doing it, plus a neat little 100% completed ribbon)

The Gambler's Fallacy in effect. When you fail the check, it doesn't become a 2 in one million chance. It is still a one in a million chance. You are no more likely to get it in 2 weeks than in your first second

@@firefi1960 You are right, 1 million seconds gives you roughly 50/50 odds, a little less even. But you are also wrong, because of how statistics work. It is true on specifically the millionth second and the first second, the odds of seeing the achievement are exactly the same if that 1 millionth second is taken in isolation, but it is different when you are looking at 1 million seconds versus only 1 second. The longer you simulate something with certain odds, the more likely you are to have seen the event that is being simulated as the odds are rolled. Just like you are more likely to roll a 6 on a dice if you continue rolling the dice, and you are very unlucky if you haven't rolled a single 6 after rolling the dice more than 12 times. You'd do a binomial distribution calculation to see your odds of seeing a 6 in a certain number of dice rolls, or in this case, to see your odds of receiving the achievement after a certain amount of seconds.

Mad respect for you to actually "100%" the game in 6 months, it takes insane amount of effort and determination to keep going on, I also kinda got to "the end" only having the cookies baked achievements left, but those are so monotonous... I didn't bother spending time to doing them (even though ive been for years with 3000+ hours and even made a guide for the grimoire!) I really don't enjoy that last part of the game 😭will be waiting for another content drop if i do bother with it, wonder if youlll be making an updated version if that does happen 🤔

But if you haven't watched Dragoon, he often talks at a similar pace and does stuff like include random songs or rap battles out of nowhere and additional lore that isn't in the game, as well as him being on average far less calm than Seanie

@@Dragoon45 I 100%'d one of my savefiles and the other one i made i stopped at around 96-97%, so if you wanna count that i only beat it once, anyways, i consider 'beating' 100%ing the game in its current state, and considering i've played this on the web version before the steam version was released they have probably added some hard achievements that i do not know of

I’ve been trying to grind the “ascend 1000 times” achievement. Where I am in the game (I think I’m mid game tbh), and without any intense strategizing, it takes 15-20 seconds per ascension. I have 250 rn, so if I did it nonstop it would take 4 hours of clicking the same buttons over and over. I’ll get it eventually…
