I'm just glad they are adding more cities to the map. San Andreas in my opinion is still the best GTA map because of the multiple different cities and small towns, so its really cool GTA 6 is bringing it back plus adding in the detail and visuals from RDR2
I was in my 20s when the first GTA came out and it keeps amazing me what they come up with. I'm 50 now and Rockstar is still my favorite game developer (even after the defective addition lol)
@@frankgrimes7388Chill dude! Don't be so butthurt. It's just a shortened version of "Laughing out loud" and no,it's not used only by kids and teenagers.
Come oooon, this guy is surreal, all the others already made a bunch of videos on the subject, yet here comes a guy with best animated videos to recreate it by himself in 3D for people who care to compare it, and it's incredible. This channel is certainly gaining traction since it's 2nd video (when I found it pretty much), but boy does it deserve more recognition! Great video, hope you proceed to update the model with each new trailer released.
@@dudemp4 Yeah but people had reason to believe Rockstar could create a quality game now. Now there's little reason to be hopeful here unless you're nostalgic and amazed by the hype they're ramping up without actually delivering anything substantive
@@outmywritemind1739 has Rockstar put anything out horrible, that they developed themselves? Of all the many AAA companies Rockstar is the one I trust the most, they made RDR2 in 2018, that game somehow didn't get GOTY, Rockstar shows in game engine trailers, and even polished them more in the release. I never will doubt Rockstar in making their single player titles, I doubted them heavily when they were making RDR2, but then later on I realized that game is a masterpiece still to this day, if Rockstar disappoints in 2025 I think that's where I'll quit supporting
@@outmywritemind1739 rockstar has always made great games so why would people who have seen them consistently release great games think this wouldn't be an amazing game
@@A_Terrible_Person because they haven’t done anything since Red Dead 2. They killed Red Online, fought many modded servers on both that and GTA, and it goes without saying that GTA Online has been a micro transaction focused void of uninspired content since the original PC heists. Now large names within the company that worked on many previous games are no longer there and the leadership of the company has changed for the first time. There’s plenty to be worried about and for me the worst part is seemingly no more Laslo on the radio
Another thing to keep in mind is being based in Florida if they stay true to the irl area there are no mountains or really high terrain in general Unlike red dead or GTA V where large chunks of both maps are really mountain ranges that are more obstacle then anything else this means the map will be far more accessible then any of their recent maps but also feel even larger thanks to the extra space
A few forest/woodland areas would be nice tho. GTA 4 was such a sick map, even though it was very true to NY, it could have done with some more greenery scenery if ya feelin me
@@Deleted11100you seen the trailer of GTA 4? They were using the most they could on those consoles, GTA 4 is actually very old, it's nearing 2 decades soon.
For anyone interested, Dupzor has a channel co-owned by his friends called BasementGamerBros. They don't upload all that often but they have a catalogue of good content if you guys need something to binge this weekend!
I downloaded your 3D Map and imported the wavefront obj into blender and this map you modeled basing it off the trailer looks like a very accurately convincing GTA 6 map of Vice City and the rest of Leonida. Good work Dark Space! 👍
Hi Dark Space. I am from Iran and I've made a Farsi subtitle for your previous video for GTA VI's trailer and I would be very happy if I send it to you and you put it on your video.
Imagine that the limit of Vice City is surrounded by mountains like RDR2 so that through online or DLCs you can expand this map and thus the title "Project Americas" makes sense Damn, I should stop smoking that
Idk anything about modeling or how difficult this actually is to create but to me the intelligence required for this kind of thing is amazing, good work dude this is absolutely incredible work
i remember a game "the getaway" which map was so close to London's map that it was unecessary to put a map in the box with the CD, it was easier to buy a real London map
at some points I wonder if youtube intentionally shuts down talent, channels like this with the effort and quality of every single upload must have at the very least a mil in subs great vid as always
RU-vid doesn’t intentionally do it, but rather the algorithmic recommendation system rewards frequent uploaders more than quality of uploads (although audience reactions/interactions do play a part). The point of the algorithm is to keep people on RU-vid as long as possible, so they generate as much money for RU-vid and RU-vidrs alike, but people who upload less frequently don’t have as much constant content to keep people on the site.
The scale is insane and it’s awesome to know Rockstar seems to be keeping most of the map close to the chest at this time, this video made me realize the trailer did conceal areas outside of Vice City. I have a feeling despite the leaks that there’s a good chance we may see something totally unexpected in future trailers.
The point made at 8:30 is so true. I’ve played gta 3, 4, and 5. But I’ve never once played the games on release. Now being an adult and having the ability to buy the game when it releases, this will be my first ever gta experience during game launch. I was around 8 years old when I played my first gta, I will be 22 when I experience my first gta launch that I will actually be a part of.
In the leaked files there is reference to “SERA failed space launch”. SERA seems to be the NASA parody. I wonder if this will be a random event where we see a shuttle explode after launching. There is also reference to a “SERA van” which if you google NASA van you can see a vehicle we may be able to drive.
6:18 my (out there) theory is theyre gonna have a trump parody where Leonida has a "Great Wall" to "stop the undesirables ruining our great state". Would make sense to be immediately gunned down with military if you cross it
@buddybutt9131 like I said, if you pass it in any way you get a 5* wanted level. Bit like how rdr2 didn't explicitly stop you accessing blackwater it just spawns 45 terminators to kill you
@buddybutt9131 you're not allowed to fly over fort zancudo in gta v, they send fighter jets after you if you do. They could do this in VI, or the same trick gta v pulled: flying out of bounds by making your engines fail. They could generate a bunch of low res countryside beyond the wall to account for the distance travelled, rdr2 has a metric ton of inaccessible out of bounds terrain so they're clearly able to do this.
Restricted tourism by ankle monitor - I like that, makes the most sense now. The intro to trailer #1 is making me believe she actually starts off inside the prison system with that idea.
If you watch the trailer, i think around the 1:11 mark, as the car is drifting around the corner you can actually see the state of leonida depicted as pretty much identicle to florida, it does indeed have the panhandle
Yea Gta V's map was bigger than IV but 80% of the map was just mountains, so it looks like R* finally has freedom with the newer gen consoles to add more cities and stuff to the map instead of slapping mountains everywhere. And if they bring back the locked bridges and areas back, that would be awesome.
GTA IV: Too many skyscrapers and big buildings. GTA V: Too little skyscrapers and big buildings. GTA VI: The correct number of skyscrapers and big buildings.
Perfect video : sharing a project based on a community's work and sharing the result with everybody for free. That's litteraly the best thing that can happen for a community : sharing and build together, like the open source philosophy, the one our society miss terribly. Plus i came here to see a 3D modeled GTA 6 and i ended up getting a summary of the "state of the art" of the community's speculations. That's just amazing.
I'm not sure, I don't know if it's ethical or not to make profitable content off of such devastation for the studios. The source code being leaked is definitely interesting but idk what I can add to it that other, more educated people, haven't already said.
@@DarkSpaceStudiosI can understand that. I will be clear, I'm not asking for you to talk about the game stuff but rather the bit where Insomniac's personal data was dumped on the internet. Moral support is never a bad thing. The Ubisoft one I don't know as it's barley getting attention. The Rockstar one again I dunno.
You said it yourself R* could limit the early map exploration by putting a leg monitor( or waterever it's called), and as we progress I guess the range extends and that maybe how they make us keep away from exploring the other end of leonida.
Edit this: With the digital version of GTA-6, I bet we will get the map of GTA-6 and any other collectible in NFTs, and I’m sure Rockstar will somewhat implement crypto to this game.
Thank you for your work. I always found it amazing to watch all the speculations unfold up until the next trailer comes around and flushes half of it down the toilet. It's probably the most exciting time for me, even more than the game itself.
Seeing people come together for the common good out of sheer love and passion restores my hope in humanity. These people are a living proof that profit is not the main drive for productivity and creativity
I'm glad there will be interiors you can either hang out in or rob. GTA 5 feels void even in the downtown of LS because there are no buildings to enter. They prefered to make it look big on the surface.
If this is the size of the map we're going to get, then I'm happy to see that it's not ridiculously bigger than V's map. I don't like exploring large barren maps at all. I'm in the minority that will always choose a smaller, more condense game world than the large wasted spaces that we get these days.
I hope the map is surrounded by land, and if they add more it better be in both online and singleplayer, I'd even pay for it. The reason I don't play online is cause when they decide not to do it anymore, all that progress is gone for good.
Outstanding work my friend. I can see this is at least 90% accurate unless ofc the final version of the game is slightly different from what've seen. We just need to wait for the 2nd trailer to give this one another update. Keep'em coming amigo 👍🏻🔥
5:48 there is actually a high chance we'll get the bermuda triangle. One of the 2022 leaks showed a text box that reads: 951 - Bermuda Triangle - Submarine
I wonder what they're going to do to make the map feel big. They won't get to hide the city with mountains like they could in GTA 5. Maybe they'll have a lot more empty forested space just to make the map bigger.
They're going to prioritise making it deeper rather than just bigger. Way more activities to engage in, way more buildings to enter such as hotels, motels, apartment buildings, houses, supermarkets and so on. I'd definitely prefer that over simply making the map 10× bigger with nowhere to go. It definitely helps it become more immersive.
@@saintkevinofficial Right that stuff is all super important too. It was crazy how GTA 4 had so many random buildings you could enter, but GTA 5 had barely any. But also adding some empty space in between can really help sell the illusion. Like how San Andreas actually felt like a whole state because you could only see one skyline at a time due to the low draw distance. When that was increased it totally broke how big the map felt.
@@BRZguy I think a lot of the times we underestimate how powerful GTA 5 was, considering it was primarily released on the PS3, in the same generation as GTA 4. Think about it, in GTA 5 you could ride a bicycle, play golf, play tennis, parachute/skydive, fly a plane, customise your car extensively, buy various cars, planes, helicopters and bicycles to put in your personal garage and airport hangar. You could also smoke weed as Franklin, drink endlessly as Michael and Trevor, buy a large array of clothing, tattoos, earrings and shoes as well as get hairstyles just to mention a few. You could also trade on the stock market and purchase businesses. That's no joke at all. And STILL they added random events and supermarkets to rob and buy small snacks. That's on top of enlarging the map. It's actually insane that they managed to do all this. It actually shits on GTA 4 buy a lot. Now imagine what skipping 2 console generations will do. We can't even begin to imagine.
@@saintkevinofficial Oh yeah it had tons of features for sure. The areas where you can really tell it's age are in the map size and the lack of many interiors. But aside from that it's still crazy how many details they put in.
6:23 “Maybe it’ll be like an island, like all the GTAs before it.” Slight correction: GTA III, the very first 3D GTA game, had mainland access up north as well. It was cut off with tunnels closed for construction forever and an invisible wall off-road. Consequently, this mainland connection was featured in GTA: Liberty City Stories, where the 2 tunnels were connected together to allow for better travel through Shoreside Vale; however, there still remained a way to go up state within the tunnel, though of course it was also forever closed for “construction.” It always irked me how lore treated these GTA cities like they’re apart of mainland (for example: with Catalina and Claude driving in a car from San Andreas to Liberty City) when, other than 3D era Liberty City, they’re actually just disconnected islands.
