I accidentally joined the strangest lobby in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. You may think this is a custom lobby or custom game mode - it is not. This is a random worldwide Mario Kart 8 lobby and I was shocked with what I saw.
Every player was Bowser. Bowser is not often a used character in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, however, in this lobby, it was. Every single person at one point was playing as Bowser, not Mario, not Luigi, not Yoshi... Bowser.
I of course switched to Bowser to join in on all of the strange fun, see how I got on!

it’s funny you upload this, last night I played in a lobby full of 5 people using isabelle and the city tripper lmao. I assumed they were all friends or something because there was no way they just all happened to like isabelle and enjoy playing the same exact vehicle, she isn’t even meta lol

You can do it from the Nintendo Home Screen if you’re quick enough! If not you get disconnected

I find it interesting you had to turn on your recording. I expected a professional RU-vidr would record every game. Maybe not commentate every game but at least record for if anything interesting happens or you make a cool shot or play.

I do indeed record every game, but this was the first game I joined and I was put in as spectating so didn’t start the recording until I noticed all the bowsers!
