There’s a reason I stay away from mystery boxes of any kind. With official Pokémon products you’re gambling to see if you get the rare card you want since hits are not guaranteed every pack. The odds may go down if an outside company takes those packs and place them in their “mystery packs”. The real mystery is 1) what condition are the cards/ packs in? And 2) Did they weigh the packs and place the light ones in their mystery packs? Thanks for the sacrifice of opening these mystery packs/ boxes Rev! You should say the line that Nostalgia Critic uses: “I’m the Mystery Box Opener! I rip into it so you don’t have to!” Lol

I would say for the future recommendation, never buy 3rd party "mystery" card products of any kind ever. Any time I asked my family for pokemon cards for something like my bday or xmas they always got me these 3rd party products and they were always A disappointment.

Part of the sad thing about this is that it said chase cards 1:10, which means they are counting a regular V card as a chase card, like no one just has a regular V as their chase card unless it's some starter final form.

The problem is that even if they ARE ever including insanely rare vintage cards, at this price point you would expect to find one in maybe 100-200 packs. And that's ONLY if the vast majority of other packs are filled with complete worthless junk. So it's entirely possible they do exist, but you'd have to open a lot more than 40 packs to have a decent chance at finding one. If they are indeed scamming, then they can hide behind this insanely low expected pull rate. Personally I'd much prefer to open mystery packs where you have better pull rates for mid-tier cards.
