Back in the day when I played Gen 2 on Gold, I made Sudowoodo work. After many tries, I was able to beat Red with Sudowoodo, who fought against him amongst my other 'mons.

I remember playing Pokemon Radical Red Sudowoodo was made Rock/Grass type with more stats. They did similar things with sunflora and meganium.

There's something about a frozen pokemon eating leftovers.

I had something similar with a Relicath. It's attack power is only like 90, but it's speed is salvageable for a rock type, and of course it's got great physical bulk! So easy rock polish, and then head smash though the competition while still being bulky AF. It was a fun little derpfish, sad that it's gone.

Espeon is my favorite eeveelution and I've been having a lot of fun running bulky tera Fairy Espeon with Calm Mind + Draining Kiss. Super deadly if you can set up and shreds through physical walls with Psyshock too.

pokemon company should make a new eeveelution Normaleon with a hidden ability that encourages you to have a full team of eeveelutions. Each eeveelution on ur team boosts ur basestats by 4 % (max buff is 20% 5 other eeveelutions) 525 base stats become 630 (105 in each stat) A new eeveelution has not been seen since gen 6

Game freak seems to be trying to make the OG mons more viable.. but theres just nothing that can beat this Gen 9 bullshit. They made them ridiculous out of spite for competitive. but competitive players have no shame in just using the exact same team as everyone else. Take Chi-Yi for example.. it could one shot a water/dragon type in rain with heat wave AND it's faster than almost anything and even if it's not, it doesn't matter because no matter what you hit it with it doesn't do shit. When everyone has that and you want to actually have fun with different Pokemon or a creative team, it's like trying to win the Indy 500 on a Llama. Competitive sucks the whole spirit of Pokemon out of it, there's no creativity, no story, no adventure, and you can't even use your favorites unless you want to get swept anytime someone uses a 700 BST legendary with an absurd ability and access to completely broken moves
