As I carry on with project inspired by @oneminuteworkbench, I am now adding drill press to the micro shop. Can't describe how useful this is!
I also built the riving knife but due to the length of this video I decided it will make it to the next episode.
All-in-One micro shop. Let's see how far can a complete beginner woodworker go with this.
No voiceover as an experiment to see if a video can be self-explanatory - ask away if you feel confused about any of the stages, or refer to the original series.

Pro tip : you can watch movies on kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.

when it comes to a drill press, i think a wood frame is not ideal. unless you only plan on drilling soft wood, i suspect when using it to drill metal (which i think its when you really need a drill press) it doesnt seem to be stable enough for precise holes.... then again. its better to have a wood one than none at all i guess :D

I actually managed to drill through a 8mm steel rod using this, so it's not too bad. But for proper machining I would love to have one of these massive retro drill presses.
