Instead of miniguns, use invisible spike blocks connected to neon blocks "lasers" so you can extend it out with pistons and there's no time limit for how long it goes LIKE SO JESSE CAN SEE

A simpler way is to use pistons and spike blocks, make the spike blocks collision off and invisible and there we go, you can also customise the laser color! Easier way. But, id probably use your method because it just looks cooler

the dev be like: "welp people are making killing machines instead of a boat to the treasure these days might as well add lasers and spikes or maybe more"

u could have just used glowing blocks as laser and some of those new damage blocks

you should try and make a puzzle level where you need to use a box to block the lasers so a friend can pass through and turn them off so you keep the box

Crazy how jesse made this so complicated he couldve put a piston pushing 3 lines made out of neon blocks and invisible spike blocks on the lines of neon blocks so it will always be on and he can turn it off just by using the piston to put everything in a wall or something to hide everything when it is off

Or easy way use a spike block both minigun and spike block damage players in pvp only if pvp off it won't damage anyone unless there in pvp This is a tutorial for ppl who want easiest lazer door Step 1 get a piston neon block and spike block and lever step 2 beside the entrance there will be a piston with the neon block you need is scale tool too Step 3 turn the neon block into a lazer shape use the screw driver tool to change the length of the piston but the piston with the neon block don't attach it to the Frame of the entrance do it same Step 4 get the spike block same thing but on top make the spike block same width and height of the entrance Step 5 connect the piston to the entrance Frame like put a block on piston place 2 blocks beside at the left right or front or back and then scale the 3rd block that's next to the 2nd and 1st block scale scaled block scale it in front besid3 or back of entrance and then done But if you want to make a lazer box that's big but don't have many spike block grind to get more gold to buy spike block or doo what Jesse did but not Frame and there
