How did you count the blocks in terms of scaling? I've been meaning to do a similar mod for 3D World but I wasn't sure how to scale it. Do you count how many ground tiles SMB1 uses and use half as many big bricks? Or is it mostly creative freedom?
It's impossible on the original NES, because the original SMB's size is about 40KB, so it's too small to make Bowser's Fury in. It will be possible if we made it onto PC
@@MedAnimations it might not be impossible, perse. All you need to do is buy NESMaker, design some sprites for Mario, program the mechanic of Fury Bowser, have Cat Shines take the place of the flagpole to end levels, and then compose versions of the music using the 4 sound channels available. I would suggest using Famitracker to compose the music, then transferring the NSF data to be used for the NES. Don’t ask me how; I don’t know.
It's nice to see how a simple recreation of world 1-1 becomes way more interesting when combined with Bowser's Fury mechanincs! It surprised me to see that the pipes (except the ones for the secret area) have to spit you out because that's how they work and that you'd need custom ones to make them not enterable. We also discovered a new glitch in Bowser's Fury, that was a nice bonus! 5:23 They really look almost the same. There's another similarity, since blocks in 3D World can have spinning Fire Bars, just like the ones in Super Mario Bros.
Next you gotta do “I added the first Super Mario Bros. level... to Mario Maker!” Edit: I also just wanted to add that this is legitimately really well done and artistic, I would lose my mind in a good way if this was how Bowser’s Fury opened.
Ummm, I think the 2678th 1-1 remake was done about 6 years ago. I'm 99.9% sure that this is the 3412825371936183584029651628168172738236294028362517921362372839th remake of 1-1.
Now this is what i was waiting for! Excellent work and amazing video. Even the blocks go the right way. I like how clever you were with the pipework. It was interesting To see the warp zone, and the one up Mushroom on bowser fury. Shame it has no effect. I also had this video idea. Every cat shine or level you beat shrinks Mario down by 5-10%, effecting the speed and Jump hight too. How far can Mario go with the ant man powers before the game becomes i possible? (i also do t know IF you can scale the character, just thought it would be a neat idea)

If I may suggest something, using a brown version of the ground tiles in the underground section for the overworld section would be more fitting, as those tiles are very similar to the smb1 ground tiles. And for underground brick blocks, you could've just used the crystal ones, as they're essentially 3D world's version of underground brick blocks.

This could be a great idea for a mario game Let's say that mario gets sent back in time to super Mario bros 1 and bowser has taken over the mushroom kingdom when he figured out how to time travel and he is trying to kill mario in this new setting
You shouldve made the level also like the Super Paper Mario version of 1-1. It has a 3d implement, and the way it is designed, there is a larger area for Mario to walk around.
Creative idea, I'd never think of that. Probably because right now I'm trying to train my Poochyena focused on Attack status... Playing Heart Gold right now. On a sidenote, my Poochyena is a shiny Pokémon. Was really lucky to get it this fast while playing Emerald. I mean, on the first route??? What was wrong with that game there?
I decided to use the stone blocks instead of the brown brick blocks, yeah :D I could've put the brown brick blocks, but I thought the stone blocks fit better and looked more similar to the original
Can you make it,that Bowser gets Fury at different times (like after 30 Minutes,60 Minutes etc)? This would be very useful,especialy at the end of the Game.
Is mario faster or the same speed as mario in smb1 in bowsers fury? I was wondering, since they increased Mario's speed in the switch port of sm3dw, so maybe he would be as fast as the nes games?
Cool tattoo remade it 1 - 1 from super Mario because isn't Bowser Fury and this is a whole different game from super Mario games but not like this one because is a game that Bowser is covering all in slime like black slime and Mario has to stop them in the world of cats I think and he has to be like shadow Luigi because I don't know anything else from the game but I watch some videos of the game and I saw someone like beating the whole entire game Bowser's fairy like this game but I didn't know that you one dash one from Mario because this is pretty cool
