You guys NEED to react to *Good News* by Mac, it's one of his best songs, and definitely his most emotional one. He recorded it around the time that he passed away and it definitely shows his mental state in that dark period of time. Thank you for the great reactions!! :)
He also made Circles which was released posthumously but the co-producer Jon Brion had to finish it. It's a much difference vibe, and style. The first song you heard of his was "Circles" which is the first track on the album! Check it out after Swimming.

"never felt so damn good where i'm at" i hear this line play back in my head a lot. i think mac knew the situation he was in, accepted it for what it was. he wasn't in denial anymore and i think that is why he felt this way

Mac Miller was an amazing artist can’t put a label on him or his style Absolutely the G.O.A.T And he was really coming into his own Very sad I rock swimming and good am everyday 😢
I always think of this song as being a representation of the time you first have a truly intimate experience with someone for the first time - essentially showing them all the parts of yourself they haven't seen before. The R&B feel is kinda setting the mood for the intimacy, and the cutesy synth sounds in the back are just that - kinda the shyness & cuteness of the moment. Add in the deliberately off-pitch chorus - essentially symbolising the imperfectness of both his "wings" and his personality and you have a crystal clear picture of the situation. What makes it super weird, is that it's after self-care, so not only could this be between two people, it could also be a snapshot of him coming to terms with his OWN imperfection. Madness! Long live Mac. It's a really beautiful song, if you are prepared to listen properly!
Funny you say you could sleep to this song, I have always slept with music playing, and Swimming has been on repeat since it released, so chill and relaxing. Masterpiece.

Mac famously never did anything with Drake, he has a line "and i did it all without a Drake feature" which I take as both a shout out to Drake's popularity and ability to make music as well as a shout out to himself for doing it on his own in a time when everyone had Drake jump on their tracks to gain traction
