It's interesting, because it seems like some people just "get it," while others have to painstakingly test the limits of Newtonian physics the hard way, through ages of trial and error. I did a rendezvous and docking procedure my first day playing Kerbal Space Program. Meanwhile I had a friend who swore off docking for good after literally years of failing, and now he just finds ways around it by building monstrous single launch abominations.
Ohh man , you just hit a core memory of mine watching Convoy on Sunday with my Dad who was a trucker himself and when i drove with him he would put an actual rubber duck with a cowboy hat on the hood and changed our call sign to Rubber Duck while i was with him driving . He drove , i did the radio and cargo management . Such good memories ! Thx
This is a really cool premise for a game. The graphics are good too! I love how even as someone watching you through a screen, I can still feel the heaviness and slow movement of the truck moving and also the difficulty moving through space as the character. Would love to see more of this game, Drae!
Important tip, if the demo lasted any longer... make sure to put EVERY loose damageable component in one of the hard cases while you have the chance. Sometimes the gravity fails, and sudden movements can bounce things around..
Partly true. In this game there's a "Drive assist" mode that defaults to on, which corrects for movement, and also gradually slows your forward movement as well, giving the feeling of road friction that would allow you to coast to a stop. You can however disable that by pressing the big "DA" button in the center console, which means it's now up to you to correct for any movement, but also removes any speed limiting the assist has.

i got the demo and decided to get to the edge of a place, go as fast as possible into a building, and then notice that nothing happens at 0% hull integrity, while giving myself a bagillion bucks of debt. then went outside without space suit on purpose.
