This happened to my son at Walmart not the outbursts but they tried to tell him the purchase didn’t go through. I went up there because he’s only 16 and I show them the bank account on the phone, I then called the bank and had them verify with the Walmart manager that they did indeed take the money. I don’t know why this is happening but it has happened
I've seen reports of this happening to others at Wal-Mart. They can't have it both ways--take away the cashiers and make the customers ring up their own stuff; then when the register malfunctions, accuse them of shoplifting. It's disgusting.

Walmart and star market have an Option on self checkout receipt of: print, email or none. I always pick print recipt. Why? Bc I felt it's just a matter of time before some security person would challenge me, detain me and call the cops...regardless of bank rating or education. Store Security et al, see me as a black person and get immediately suspish. It dosen't surprise me that Jamaal outdid his colleagues. My most disheartening encounters from 1978 to 2010 with police were with black cops.
If it was approved it should’ve printed out a receipt .. u couldn’t go on your phone and pull up the transactions .. this could’ve been avoided in so many ways

This happened to me at JC Penney. They charged me twice but claimed my money was stuck in the cloud. I had to dispute it with my card company who only refunded one of the transactions. I was so tired of the process that I just said F it. It was $53 that I let go. Never got my boots.

Man sometimes you just have to take a breath and walk away. If you pulled a gun out that was the wrong move, you sranding there yelling just escalated everything, be pissed, but do it wisely. I hate that happened to you, and it is frustrating but you have to take a deep breath and handle that situation with a calm head.
