All gardeners make mistakes and goofs no matter how long they've been gardening. Plants are very forgiving and want to grow. Good luck! BTW, What do you do with your herbs? Culinary, medicinal, other?
I’m glad the plants are kind and merciful! I use my herbs in the kitchen as well as medicinally. I’m in the midst of some herbalism courses currently and am learning how best to use them!
You are being way too hard on yourself. You could have just as easily titled the video How I saved nearly all herbs. Enjoyed the video, I have had problems with chickens also. Never knew you could propagate basil that way, and I have been gardening for decades.
I appreciate you saying that! I felt a little silly that this happened, but I appreciate your advice. And yes! That's my favourite hack to get more basil! Thank you for watching :)
@@thehomegrownartist Well, if it makes you feel any better I will tell you what I did. Planted 162 cell tray with peppers. Did not have heat mat so I put florescent grow lights about 3 inches from top of soil. Apparently it got too hot, and dried out quickly and most died. Then I put them outside during the day when it warmed up. Got a rain and some died due to too much water. Set the tray without the catch tray and they dried out, killing the last few. Had to buy pepper transplants. Tomatoes did well. In my defense, I was in and out with my wife being in the hospital, but still was never that bad at growing seedlings.
