@@ChrryWrplan but to a non-GD player, it would just look like a normal video game, like Subway Surfers. They won't understand how brutal the timings are and how hard geometry dash is to play when under pressure. Already I am unable to complete the XL demon that I'm very consistent at in practice mode because I suck at nerve control. Ultra Violence is not XL, but the nerve control required is the same, maybe even more when playing in front of the school. Pity for Derek because GD always has levels that are 'harder than they look'. Edit: Well, people were harassing Npesta for being so happy about verifying Kenos because they couldn't understand the difficulty of kenos while just watching the level. Same could be the case here.
@vedantsridhar8378 It's actually the opposite - they don't understand how easy a level like Ultra violence is. Even if I didn't play geometry dash, I would be extremely impressed by seeing someone dodge a gazillion attacks from a giant spider robot, but in reality most of the doominator is straight fly. Obviously its still impressive that this guy could do the level so fast, but the audience definitely think he's some sort of epic wizard lol
I'm not a usually socially anxious person, but I felt SCARED as they started cheering at the beginning... You have some balls to do that man! FELT SO GOOD AT THE END THO HOLY!!!
@@babagd Do you forget that like 80% of the geometry dash players can't even beat like an easy demon? Lots of the community is younger people and even if a level like this isn't hard to other people, most of the community thinks that this level is challenging enough to be hard. Especially when you have a whole audience to watch you do it and the pressure of losing.
GG This is hilarious The bravery and skill, being able to focus with everyone screaming and the speakers not playing the actual song 😂 Synced pretty well in the end
Yeah, I beat Ultra Violence today. Even though it's the most consistent level of this difficulty that I've ever played, if I were to perform on the stage, I'd lose all of that consistency lol
It’s a medium demon, I mean no disrespect to him at all it’s not a particularly difficult level but still mad props for him doing it in front of his school
@@gillboygddon't say things like this, meaning " it's not even that hard it doesn't matter" it's just not cool bc someone can do a easy demon and still get praise but a medium demon is harder so praise them for that, not the fact that he did it in front of people
4 years ago, i saw a geometry dash meme about a player beating bloodbath in America's got talent, it was a really good edit and i wonder if somebody actually did it irl. Until i stumbled upon this video and I'm glad it became real Edit: actually i think it was sonic wave, i saw the video 5 years ago
beating a medium demon under pressure in minimal attempts like this is insane. there are much much much harder levels but you usually have infinite attempts and you only have to impress yourself. in this situation id be shaking so much i couldnt play the game lol
Tbh I think there are always people who will try to put him down because they are just jealous of him. Had he beaten Tartarus at the front of the school, they'd be like "It's not Top 1 or even Top 10, chill dude."
I don't know what to say, everything about this is just perfect. I'm good enough at the game to know how hard Ultra Violence is and although it's considered one of the easier levels, the fact that you did it at a talent show with nothing but a positive audience at that very moment is just, wow. If I was there and I died at the first four attempts with that much pressure, I would probably cry. GG's man and although you didn't win. This is a huge W right there.
Bro thats so cool how you managed to beat a med demon with the audience screaming in the background AWESOME JOB and keep it up! I like how nobody there knew just how hard and stressful GD can be which is really funny. great job!
I would never do this for a talent show just for the fact that I would have to be consistent enough at a level to able to beat it on stage. I can hardly even beat deadlocked 100% of the time. Super cool Update: I can beat deadlocked consistently.
@@JKBDTS at least for deadlocked is much much easier than ultra violence, though i havent beaten ultra violence yet but i still dont think deadlocked can really compare
True, people saying medium demons aren't hard didn't consider that. Basically beat the level asap or make yourself look like a clown in front of the audience.
@@derekgriebel6408It’s insane how even after a year, you’re still replying to comments. Huge W content creator, I aspire to one day gather the attention/ support you have amassed.
As a fellow gd player, it makes me so happy how they all get excited when you pass the part you kept dying on, and then get super happy and cheer you on when you beat it. Dash on 👍
If I did this, I would be called cringe, addicted, and the other sort. The fact that your school had such a positive reaction blows me away. You're lucky
me too, most of the people cant even beat a demon, so that would be so epic for them, or maybe they can just disparage it, because they dont know how hard it is
I'm near completing Nine Circles. Absolute pain. Whoever can beat a hard demon in front of the whole school must have Bloodlust as their hardest demon lol. Edit: I finally beat Nine Circles. And guess what, playing nine Circles for a talent show would be the last thing I'll ever do.
GG, nice job not only beating it under pressure but with random crappy music playing instead of the original too... then having people in a school applaud you... I felt those deaths at the spider part though lol...
That was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life. Keep doing what your doing, you have a lot of skill. You got a whole group of people behind you cheering you on. *Subscribes*
This makes my doing mental arithmetic in front of an audience with audience questions while racing the host at my school talent show on a calculator look easy. Bloody hell this is ballsy !
Nice to see some unrecognized talent get recognized outside gaming events. Takes some quick reactions and hand eye coordinator to execute this play style. Props !
Maybe a just visually harder and epileptic level could have work better for judges, like HeLL, HyperFantasy or any Circles, but man, you're an idol, gg
I remember one guy who played osu in a talent show, and I thought it would be funny if someone would try to play gd too. And you did it. I'm actually surprised by how you managed to pull that off in front of an irl audience. Bro I always mess up when someone watches me playing so you've earn my respect. Big W
@@Alex-02 Yeah, playing Slaughterhouse live would give a heartrate of like 250. At that level of anxiety, I think the human brain is physically incapable of processing frame perfect inputs.
This has to be the best thing I've ever seen, a bunch of people Rioting (wink wink) about a Geometry Dash level in a public crowd. Massive congrats for the completion and the support, man.
I've never gotten to live most of my dreams, so seeing someone else do one I've never thought was even possible is a amazing. Instant legend right here, surprised this video isn't viral.
for real man, you're so lucky. Not like me, i beated decode at school and no one even care, they just care the kid who playing power trip and force me to beat power trip with 1 attemp, and if i lose, they call me noob, which is annoying >:(
PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIKED IT???? IM SO GLAD WTFFF i thought like everyone looked down upon gd 😭 thank u for this video you're really good at this !! (especially live schjsdjj)
I beat Nine Circles 2 days ago as my second demon after Clubstep, and I'm not gonna play this level again. Or if I do, it'll only be for fun and I won't care if I die or not. Mad respect to those who can do Nine Circles for a talent show.
@@ItsDKPP Ikr? Thanks! It was a 1.5 month long journey and a really painful one, with 15.2K attempts in total. My heartrate increased rapidly at just the wave drop, making beating the level extremely challenging. I'm so glad that I'm done with it. Painful journey but now I'll forever flex that I managed to do such an enormous jump and complete the seemingly 'impossible' level that took me forever to get consistent at.
@@vedantsridhar8378 that's impressive but I don't recommend doing jumps that are out of ur skill base, I only beat my first hard demon as the 15th only few days ago. Anyways big gg
Wow. This looks beautiful. As a former, foooormer GD mobile top player, I got really traumatised and bad memories from the game, so it's really heartwarming to see the other side of the coin - thank you for showing me that spark of joy I've long lost :"] There seems to be lots and lots of comments around here, so I don't want to waste y'all's time. I hope you had lots of fun there. Keep having fun together ❤ ~ SUPERNOOB20
people cant recognize that having great skills in geometry dash is actually a talent, most of normal people would give up on time machine, while some dudes beat levels that were considered HUMANLY IMPOSSIBLE in the past, this game is insane man
@@mlau490 its not exactly based on difficulty, its based on how hard it was for me to based compared to others insanes since im on mobile and rupture is VEEERY stressful
