A track from the Annie Warbucks Original Soundtrack, sung by Kathryn Zaremba. Annie Warbucks was the second attempt at an Annie sequel and it ran for 200 shows off-Broadway.
I was in a school production of this song and the girl who was cast as Annie sent goosebumps down my spine when she sang this song. If only someone would do a full-length cover of the song. It is powerful :)
Lyrics for some of you :) I always knew Knew that tomorrow would come true I always knew When it was dark With not one star up in the sky Hey, I still knew knew I said my prayers And I would go to sleep believing I guess the trick is that you gotta keep believing Cause when you do There go your tears there goes the darkest night And the light breaks through I always hoped I always dreamed for how I hoped for how I dreamed. Know that ain't true I always knew I do I do I always knew !!!!
[LYRICS] I always knew Knew that tomorrow would come true I always knew when it was dark With not one star up in the sky Hey i still knew I said my prayers And i would go sleep believing I guess the trick that is you gotta keep believing Cause when you do There goes your tears There goes the darkest night And the light breaks through I always hoped I always dream For how i hoped For how i dreamed Know that ain't true I always knew i do i do i always knew!
This girl can sing and belt VERY good. But I don't think she should sound so little and squeaky. Idk maybe just me but the sequel of Annie shouldn't sound younger that the original. She should sound older. Maybe it's just me
@@janblau4839 the actress is Kathryn Zaremba. She also has a very unique speaking voice (not a bad thing at all imo) She played Michelle’s friend Lisa on Full House and sounded just like this delivering lines.
Yeah, gotta be honest, she's far from my favorite Annie. She absolutely had loads of talent and could be great in a lot of roles, but it kinda sucks that she's Annie on what is probably the only cast recording this show will ever get.
