I am a little worried for Bo Nix with the Denver Broncos | NFL Live 

Bo Nix is gonna be the top quarterback out of this class, so underrated, take that to the bank!!

Little confused on the statement "Capable of doing more with less" Like Jayden Daniels didn't have two receivers drafted in the first round. I think NIX will do fine under SP, if he truly fits the mold of a Drew Brees than Marvin Mims, Court, Tp and reynolds will be good enough to compete with (They will also bring in a few receivers from this class as well.)

I usually agree with Mina, but she was a bit off here: Marvin Mims is one of the fastest players in the league, and funny enough, they ended up adding Troy Franklin as well, so Nix will have plenty of fast weapons at WR. The Broncos also have a pretty solid OL, and Nix being more of a pure pocket passer compared to Russ will help them. All things considered, this is an ideal situation for Nix to walk into. The bigger concern is whether he'll have a good run game to rely on, which is something he had at Oregon. Unfortunately, I don't think Javonte will ever be as productive after that knee injury.

Sutton, patrick, Mimms , reynolds and more. Online is solid, broncos will surprise this year

Need to remember, this is a team rebuilding. They will add more pieces as time goes on.

Broncos had a top ten offensive line last year , insert Bo Nix who was the most accurate passer in NCAA history minus the behind the line of scrimmage plays should do well in the NFL

Acting like Broncos Oline wasn’t top 10 in run and pass blocking, statistically they were solid. Russ ran out early too often leading to sacks etc.

If the broncos don't take him then the raiders take him and if he's a home run every team but the broncos have a qb in that division so I think it's worth the risk. So if we hit on it then the raiders are the only team in the division without a decent/good qb.

Bo Nix might not work, but the Broncos had no choice but to give him a shot. You've got Patrick Mahomes in your division. You must keep auditioning QBs until you find your franchise guy

Mina, did you do some research? WR on the Broncos that ARE fast. Dorsett ran a 4.33, 40, Mims ran a 4.38, but beyond that Chris Patrick and Courtland Sutton are not bad WR to throw to. I would argue they actually have quite a sold WR core with a good balance of size and speed.

Jayden Daniel had great talent around him, guess you must be worried about him. What a grade A awful take. Guess he didn’t have much adversity at Auburn and came out the other side

To me, results will much more heavily weigh on Payton than they will on Nix. Whether or not Nix develops and is successful under Payton will show whether or not Payton is washed.

Before Penix was picked I was hoping we would trade back and pick up a 2nd rd pick then draft Latu, Murphy II or an OT. Then possibly trade back up n Rd 1 and take Nix. Once Penix was taken I knew they would take Nix at 12 for fear the Raiders would take him at 13. Look I don't know what Nix is going to be. As a Broncos fan I hope I am wrong in the thinking I don't believe he's going to beat out Zach Wilson and its going to be a wasted pick for a dude that's going to hold a clipboard. We could of stayed at 12 and taken Bowers or traded back. Drafting a QB seems to be a crap shoot. So we could really be in big trouble and both Wilson and Nix suck and were stuck with Stidham for another year. And then we throw the dart at another QB in next years draft or the following year ....which I think Nico Iamaleava is going to be a star. And not saying that just cuz i am a UT alumni.

Bo Nix will be the next Case Keenum, not Patrick Mahomes Case was the NCAA's all time leader in passing yards, completions and touchdowns then did nothing in the NFL because it doesn't translate. Nix will be carved up at the next level and only look mediocre in a system built around him

Honestly, I think the Broncos would have been better suited by benching Wilson halfway through the season and starting DiNucci. They knew Russ wasn't the future and their best bet was to get as high a draft pick as possible, while also finding out if DiNucci is worth keeping around as a backup. They won 7 of their last 11 games, which put them just out of reach of a franchise QB and instead reaching for someone who shouldn't have gone until probably the 3rd round. If they lost even 3 of those 7, they'd have been picking right around the Chargers.

This is actually the best situation for Bo Nix. Payton will have him more prepared than anyone else based on what he does well. I'm tired of the media talking about the situation where the player is going to -- it's part of this victim-no accountability mindset pushed by Libs in the media and especially being defensive of players always.

Payton said he tricked the Vikings into trading up to #10 to get McCarthy. Doing this had no benefit for the Broncos. I personally think Payton wanted McCarthy, but Vikings offered more. Payton then was worried about Nix having his ego broken and so made up a cover story.

The situation with the team may not be great, but he's in a good position coaching wise.
