I do love halo infinite, probably has the best gameplay of any of the halo games, the only real issue is the sandbox is kinda small

I am absolutely addicted as well. Sometimes I do so well that people send me angry messages saying I'm cheating, other times I play so badly, people send me angry messages telling me to off myself. there is no in between 😂

Infinite is my first HALO game. The campaign was fun and For multiplayer I hit a double kill with collateral sniper shot and hopped off .

I'm more of a PvE kind of person but I love to get on every now and then for some firefight. Also, here before the massive wave of people who haven't played since season 2 complain about the game.

Halo infinite is an amazing experience, and I'm tired of people denying that it is. I've been playing since Oct 2023, and I'm pretty sure I've put in SO MANY hours on basic tdm or firefight matches, it's honestly the best mp experience I've ever had with Halo. I may have hopped on the halo train pretty late back in 2011, and didn't have the pleasure of having xbox live, or wifi as a kid, but infinite made such an awesome impression.

This is actually understandable because I have been playing it 4 years straight even today it is not addicting but the game is attractive for people like myself that are competitive that even goes the same for the other games as well

i’m same as you, after hitting hero all I had been playing was straight husky raid, now ranked is a brand new challenge

the good game modes in multiplayer hit hard in this game.. the gameplay feels really good. my favorite in the franchise.

I love it too. Play it every day after work (mostly) It could do with some slight tweaks but I keep coming back to it. I play other games to recharge but I always come back.

I'm addicted to the game too, the only thing that makes me stop playing is finding 3 games in a row where I fight 2 Hero rank players while they give me two newbies as teammates... and I'm just Diamond... playing casual

Im addicted to this game too, not in ranked but in social, like in BTB. I need to get kills and use the tanks. I strive to get golden medals every day. The sandbox and sfx are just so satisfying.

In 2022 I was addicted to this game I played it so much and had a lot of fun. It felt like there was no skill based match making back then so every game I would have 30-40 kill games in slayer. Nowadays social is so sweaty the only thing that keeps me playing is ranked because without it I wouldn’t play this game and in the past all I played was social

I love this game. The graphics, the intense matchmaking, the controls, the customization. The micro transactions are not even that bad. People just like to trash this game. MCC is dull and outdated, and I'm never going back.

People blame the current state of ranked (competitiveness, sandbox balance) on the DMR/Bandit, but the problem is NOT THE GUN... 343 developed all aspects of the game mode around the BR, then switched it for the Bandit. I love the BR, but for anyone outside the US, the high ping made it unreliable. The Bandit makes the game more fair for us, it just needs a little nerf on the aim assist.

Yeah man, Halo Infinite needs more respect on its name. I mean how we couldn't do split screen campaign definitely hurt though

I gave it a chance after years of not touching it, and the only main thing that turns me off from the game is the goddamn slow/unchangeable sensitivity curve, and honestly I just can't agree to "get used" to something that is worse. Infinite copied many things from other FPS games, but they forgot to at least copy the aiming setting of modern FPS games, where you can change that thing, and therefore, get a very precise aiming to the point where even Aim assist is not necessary (or at least not as intense and heavy as Infinite is [actually that's how they apparently compensated" the sloooowww sensitivity curve]). Anyway, good video and good editing too!

I just hope they overhaul the match composer and make it more obvious and all that. I seem to be getting less games these days but for some odd reason I can easily get Firefight ones... I'm wondering if it's due to the changes with selecting playlists (because I kinda went thru something similar but even then I wasn't sure if it was really the case but around 2014-2015 years ago I frequented this server but one day something messed up the game/server picking thing in the entry lobby, you had to manually input the commands and stuff to get the menu up and it seemed like it had an impact on the traffic and stuff) or if people in my region just really love Firefight for some reason and this love just lasted for a few months now...

I tried MCC the other day & wow, halo infinite is definitely the best halo multiplayer. It’s so difficult to go back to the jank & clunkiness of prior halos. Infinite feels so much more fluid & smooth. Campaign was garbage, UI is garbage, store is garbage. But I’d rather play infinite multiplayer than any of the others

Only thing that doesn't keep me coming back to ranked is that Halo Infinite is a "solved" game. People in low onyx are often great at the game and half of the people in Diamond lobbies are smurfs, which is the result of a low population game. Don't get me started on the people who prefer to bring down their teammates to their level with their complaining instead of continuing to make call outs and try to win

Man its so unfortunate as someone who loves the game and infinite is my first Halo game, but living in Asia sucks, high wait times and high ping 200+ most of the time. Would love to play more but can't simply because of the player count here.

They can say whatever they want but multiplayer plays pretty good. Some of y'all would've p*ssed your pants if you had this multiplayer in 2004.

Ive been playing this game since launch (still do) and only played ranked once due to the long wait times. Are the wait times accurate?

Is it worth trying again? I've tried to play it twice more since the "open beta" but each time I got some bug where no menu loaded and I couldn't be bothered trying to fix the bug

Yeah people love complaining about this game but they rarely ever have valid complaints. The vast majority of people complaining about the game aren't even talking about gameplay they're talking about microtransactions. Microtransactions don't affect me one little bit they don't even occur as a blip on my radar, who gives a f***? All the negativity from this game literally just came from Reddit and RU-vid and people complaining online, those whiners and complainers did more to hurt the game than 343 or Microsoft ever did.
