So a fun fact is that Cid is actually a lot better with hand to hand than he is with swords. So while his opponents think they've won when they managed to knock the sword out of his hands, all they really did was unlock his second health bar. Cid just uses swords most of the time because it's cooler.

Just in case it isn't clear - Shadow really did come here, make a fake "ruin" of an ancient capital, then gave it to his people as part of his pretending. Shadow doesn't know all the changes that the 7 have made to the city, or all the minions they have collected & saved

Well to be fair, the dome is just where the explosion start, he could wipe the entire continent with that atomic. And a prof of that is the weather change, he cleared the sky with the force of that explosion, not only on the city but all the sky around the city too.

in WN (original vision of this title by Author) Cid was able to manipulate wind around him. And Cid was very dissapointed that noone appreciated this, because they didnt understand how hard it was to magically control wind. So yeah, people often cant comprehend the true power of the Eminence in the Shadow~
