@@kamisato3494 I’ve been reading the manga since chapter 15 or so, and even though I wish they had adapted it from the manga instead of the LN, I’m glad people are enjoying shadow eminence and getting a good laugh from it. But yeah the manga definitely has better comedy

well technically the barrier didn't do shit, it was actually shadow's insane control of magic to a molecular level that prevents her from getting obliterated, so if some random nobody got caught in his blast radius will not get disintegrated unless he wants to.

No shadow's speed pretty much cap around the same as koro-sensei which is mach 20, even without using magic he can physically break the sound barrier ( he call this the serious dash) he even accidently killed a fucking giant ass bear along the way

You must be one of those people who only want to watch the same ol boring reincarnated hero who has a heart of gold, etc... People were already evacuated out the town last episode so no innocent people died during the explosion. Not to mention nobody gives af about the town lol he's not a cliche reincarnated hero who's obligated to protect the people, hes a morally neutral MC who doesn't care about anybody except himself and Shadow Garden. At its core, this anime is a comedy anyways and not meant to be taken seriously.

@@shamelblack4559 Firstly, It's not the fact that innocents die that bothers me. It's the fact that that's not brought up at all. Even if nobody died, the amount of destruction and how bad it was wasn't brought up at all. My favorite anime is Code Geass, and the same thing happened in that show. However, it was done better than in this show. People didn't ignore it, or only make comments on how pretty the giant explosion in the middle of the city was. But in this show that's all that was mentioned. I doubt that every civilian got out of that entire huge area. But even if they did manage, there were still friendly soldiers there fighting the monster and looking for people to evacuate. And don't use "comedy" as an excuse for poor writing, it never works. Even Konosuba did something similar, and that's a pure comedy show. The difference is that Konosuba actually wrote the consequences for the character's actions. I'm hoping that some sort of cause and effect happens in the next episode (or at least the one after that).

I'm pretty sure that the whole area was evacuated as shown in the anime, like thr whole district . As for the damage i know why you're angry but this part in the ln has been hyped for over 2 years man! The gravity of that scene was much needed to emphasize his power ( even though he didn't go all out and controlled it cuz the girl lives and the shield he put in between) . Also doesn't badass anime MCs destroying everything seem kinda cool? I think i do hehe.
