Owner of Headwaters, Liz Unkefer, has lived in the Northwoods since she was a teenager, when her dream of owning a restaurant began. She realized that dream in 2023 when she and her husband purchased Headwaters, a Boulder Junction staple for over 40 years. Not only does Headwaters have incredible cocktails (always try the Old Fashioned!), but their walleye shouldn't be missed.
