@@Bruh4. To be fair this is comedic relief for a kids'/teens' show. In most other EU sources, Droids are basically superior in every way but in the "think outside the box" department, which is why Clones pull off such risky moves in comparison and win out. When it comes to a straight battle - droids are fearless, mechanically precise unlike any biological entity could ever be, have a much easier command information flow due to their robotic nature and faster information processing, and more advanced models can offer devastating weaponry that a normal clone would take an entirely new weapon just to compensate, whereas a droid can have both Anti Infantry and Anti Vehicle in one neat package like B2 super battle droids do. Clones were simply superior because of sentient imagination and not being held down by protocols and programming. And the clones were superior by choice of the Seppys, technically they could fund an army of B2s and demolish nearly everything in their path, but B2s are first of all very expensive as they are more akin to shock troops than ground infantry, and second are far more stupid than the more common B1s.

Treyton Poling id I’m not wrong these are the ones that aren’t just controlled by a central computer but instead do the computing in their own systems, which would make it much easier for original personalities to be developed over time.

Why did obi wan do that, the droid had a horrible workspace, a terrible day, clearly, and was totally unarmed. Furthermore, jedis are supposed to be kind people. Clearly the legends are wrong

@Amelia Scarlett plants have been proven to have feelings, that does not make them sentient. Droids being programmed with a very basic Ai does not make them sentient as they still follow programmed processes.
the sight of anakin broke the droid's will to fight, he broke a machine's will to fight and obey their own programming, imaging if they saw darth vader.

Someone should make a droid tribute highlighting all the different types of droids and how they feel about being pawns in everyone's games, using the movies, the Clone Wars, games and maybe even some audio clips from audiobooks (because Fate of the Jedi had that droid that wanted the Galactic Alliance to abolish "droid slavery")

@@droneant7602 Oh sorry it took so long to reply but anyway Hux was only made a fool of when Kylo Ren became Supreme Leader, that's something Kylo always wanted to do was make a fool out of Hux, and as for Kylo, I say he's more of the depiction of what Anakin was supposed to be (not saying there was anything wrong with the prequels or Hayden Christensen) but the writing made it hard to take Anakin seriously in what was supposed to be some of his more dramatic moments Kylo Ren is basically Anakin but only without the meme worthy dialogue and he's already turned to the Darkside That's my take on it anyway

I can relate a lot to this, but luckily we got the commando and super battle droids and droidekas and crab droids that can be badass, and the b1s can be comic relief heck even the b1s when in huge formations are a bit scary
The problem is when you get to rebels where there's barely any enemy that is savage/ a real threat. Even the darn inquisitors were pretty lame and harmless most of the time Don't get me wrong i love rebels but this is something that always annoyed me
@@mrsaltyauthor5992 there are plenty of characters in clone wars that were not just simple extras but fully fledged characters and ended up dying, plus if rebels wanted extras, they could've made them, like the clone wars did. problem is rebels had trouble making intresting characters, the best characters are mostly just returning characters from previous star wars things (with exceptions tho)

@@PanzerVII-df8hg to be really fair these droids were made for numbers, not efficiency, if the droid army was made of actually good battle droids like the IG series then the separatist would have had a chance. still not enough to win the war tho, because clones are really efficient
HeyIamGC there are so many advantages to a droid that would hurt the republic significantly if commando droids and IG droids were mass produced. One clone would be far more devastating to lose than a commando or IG droid that can be mass produced quite easily, along with the advantages of them not having to eat, drink, and not feeling pain.
If an entire clone batalion dies, it may takes years to grow and train a new batch A droid platoon gets destroyed, they'll have another one ready to go by tomorrow
