JT, farming is the biggest gamble there is. To continue doing it after a bad year just shows the love and passion for it. I miss it ! There’s always next year. Drink a beer or 12 and enjoy. 👍🏻
Hello from the UK. I'm languishing at home with a fractured neck. But this morning I was pleased to see The Welkers, Brian Brown & JT dropping new videos. Cheered me up no end :)
wow the birds ate that much, great to see the black beauty flying back from the grain elevator zooming on the pavement. Well have to pay out on the beers next year when the corn yields better. Great crops though, thanks for the Entertaiment
Love seeing the old equipment running, brings back memories. I was taught to pick corn and soybeans on a JD 105 upgrading to a 6600 in 73. Looking forward to your next restro, keep the videos coming.
Congrats on finishing. I see you got all of our rain this year, sure as heck didn't get it in Tennessee. Luckily that field won't be corn next year. Maybe different ground will yield better. Good luck.
Thanks JT, maybe for us non farmers, could you show us how the combine works for taking everything and processing the kernels off the cobs. Keep em coming. I personally like the farming videos as well as the mechanical ones.
Since you have such nice weather will you start your prepping for cover crops or leave fallow until spring? Really enjoy your videos so will be waiting for notification for the next videos, thanks for your time and commentary.
JT you might consider beans on that field next year, get some nitrogen in the ground. If you have a dairy farm close by see if they would be willing to spread manure on your ground.
I noticed the fuel gauge was stuck at full or a little over that means you have a problem with the sending unit or the wiring but I would start with the unit since I had that issue on my Case 1294 where the connectors for the wires would rot off, the other possibility would be a missing float which I have seen is a common problem due to age so i would replace the unit and see if that changes the problem if it doesn't then check the wiring from the unit to the gauge if the problem still occurs after the unit is replaced I also realized the temperature gauge doesn't work so i guess you might have a bad temperature sending unit 🤠
I had a field that made 119 the deer ate half of it i was picking 220 to 240 bushel corn i has 20 acres of corn all toll that the deer ate to the ground it was bad this year
JT, great job getting ur Corn season done and taken into town. How does ur Machine get the corn off of the Cob?? YEP! Fluffy finally showed-up to Help....
That ball socket is just crimped together, nothing high tech. Could hang it together and clinch the edge with a center punch, but that is a bandaid repair.
