I am failing at making the kind of money we're going to need with potatoes! Any ideas on what else we can do with our spud farm to make some serious cash?
Put down a couple BGA’s and sell all bi-products! Throw down other Sell points like the Sell Everything Mod and or the Market Stall! Get more Sell points completing for all of your Potatoes!
I am starting a new potato farm, I plan on going all out, getting the best equipment right away. Getting the boxed potatoes from the shed, and having a market, warehouse and the bagger somewhere else on the map. That way I can stay busy all year round doing stuff and selling.
Klutch, a new mod came out today that might actually save your potato farm! The potato production. Seems to be the fastest processing potato production so far. You can make potato chips and potato fries. Check it out.
Hi Klutch, maybe the red barn by omatana can help with producing french fries or premium potato’s? I haven’t looked at prices and production speed for that mod. but i know that normally mods by omatana are pretty good. Otherwise I would just sell the potato’s straight and plant the full map with spuds 😳 😵💫 😳. BTW Thanks for the video i really like these types of videos.
You had that planting texture issue last video I believe. It’s a mod you have that automatically rolls while you plant or something.? No ideas on making money from spuds quicker. Spuds just suck! Lol
I did some back of the envelope estimates. I don't think any of these production facilities are going to work fast enough to handle the scale of profits you're trying to achieve. The numbers just don't work. If you sold raw potatoes at a high price of $450/1000L, then you'd need to harvest about 140 acres (56 hectares) of potatoes every year to make this work. I'm not sure exactly how much land is even available on the Bloomfield map, but I suspect you'd have to buy out the entire map to have any chance of making this work, and even then it would be a real challenge. I cannot imagine having to harvest 140 acres of potatoes in FS22, let alone having to do it 10 years in a row 😱
#moreland - if you have to buy ingredients for a recipe, then that factory will give you a bad ROI. buy #moreland, farm soybeans, and buy more factories - but you need to #dothemath to determine the factory's ROI. You might therefore need to buy #moreland, farm more potatoes, to get the income to buy the factories needed to process your entire annual crop, in one year. #dothemath
With the potato mod you have to use the green houses to me that is ok to use as its part of that mod just add stupid water. Most realistic factorys I've see has water pipes and part of the daily use. Then you need the store to sell at or part of a bgm or the aunt someone store to sell at. Only way I seen in fs22 to make $$$ off of potatoes there's other factorys that need potatoes as well. To be fair I figured you would have made a "vodka" white lighting water 💧 like you did with the spacial brown water 💧. Still not cheating in my book. Prove that klutch is the best one crop farmer in fs22. Oh you gotta have faith faith faith oh. The biggest problem I see with all the factorys is carting 💧 water, and then all the extra extras that you need to make a final product. I will look over my potatoes and see who and what uses the most of them with profit. But I bet driver53 already did a video or has a spreadsheet that could help you already with that information you need. It's ok to fail as well. It is an enjoyable struggle dougo bus so far. Keep going.
Hey Klutch, I've been watching for a while and finally decided to purchase fs22 myself. Do you have any recommendations on mods to play with? I'm a veteran ARK player so I just assume vanilla games just ever so slightly miss the mark with some QoL things, and I don't know if that's the case with fs22, and where to even begin looking at mods if it is.
@@uncomfortableanimation I didn't intend for that part to be taken literally. I know where to get mods, I'm just moreso looking for recommendations on which ones to use.
