I don't think I have ever seen any other anime in which so many people play such a pivotal role! Yes, One Piece has a god tier cast of side characters, but ever since MHA season 6, every single hero has been giving it their all and beyond!

Something that I think that’s incredible is that Dabi’s tear ducts had been burnt shut, he told Hawks that when Twice died, so it’s symbolic how now when all of the hatred has been sent out is when he can finally cry once more. Beautiful work from Horikoshi and the animators.

Love that you're trying to pay respect to the animators but Yutaka Nakamura only animated the first Iida scene in the episode. Everything else was animated by lots of equally incredible animators who deserve just as much credit! Not trying to be negative btw just wanted to let you know since you do seem somewhat interested in animation.

Honestly a BASED decision, it aint every day we all get traumatized and reminded of our daddy issues. Todoroki family, truly was a masterpiece of a story.

Oh damn, I guess we’re just skipping straight to this one because of how fire it is. Not that I’m complaining! Shoto seriously lived up to his “hero of the family” status. And for as monstrous as Touya has become, I feel like it’s only fair for the family to be the ones to ultimately save him from getting himself killed completely. And it was just in the nick of time too, since Endeavor had already given up on him yet again. There’s a lot of complicated feelings happening here, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the whole family to end up on the battlefield, but hey, it’s finally time for Touya to get the attention he’s deserved all this time.

The entire Todoroki family arc is insane and this conclusion is just a masterpiece. Shoto and Endeavor are definitely the two characters with the most development in the story.

I didn't know that you would not be uploading MHA post season 4 on YT anymore. You have been so gracious with the Naruto and OP uploads that my hands were full tbh. I feel that MHA was good in the first 3 seasons. Season 4 was a let down for me and season 5 almost made me drop it, except at the fag end when My Villain Academia episodes came. Season 6 was peak MHA and delivered so so much. Season 7, while not as good as season 6, is still sooo good and this episode was god tier!

Yup. The episode was so "cool" and amazing you had to upload it at the same time as patreon. Icy what you did there, N-ice move 5:44 and 11:38 are my favourite parts. What do they have in common... high speed flight animation. Add to that Shoto making a jet with his ice? Chefs kiss. Plus the family battle coming to a conclusion and Endeavor finding out all he ever wanted, his first son had the potential to awaken: Fire and Ice together. My favourite MHA episode ever.

It's so tragic that Toya had Rei's ice quirk this whole time because he likely would've gone on to be a top hero and be fulfilled in life if Endeavor didn't treat him like a failure at best as a child. Not condoning his villainous actions though, but still Toya has been through so much and I empathize with what he's been through in the past.😭😭
