If you go into the pause menu>Options>Accessibility Settings, there are sliders for Glint Speed and Glint Strength. You should turn up Glint Strength to 100% to make your armor super shiny.
The reason they removed it, as far as I know, doesn't have anything to do with epilepsy. It's mainly because it lowers the visibility i.e. it makes it harder to tell items apart, and a lot of people think it looks kinda bad.

Hello Jack, to make a spyglass, you need to find amethyst crystals, which are found in the geode. In these geodes you can find 3 things, the crystal, the amethyst blocks and the block the amethyst sits on which are blocks that enables you to farm crystals, they aren't silk touchable(like spawners), meaning you can't move them. Hope this helps. Also biomes correspond to the climate of the minecraft seed so finding a taiga biome would indicate you are closer to colder biomes while finding a jungle would indicate you are closer to hotter biomes.
Jack, the Piercing enchantment is for the crossbow which makes it so you can shoot through enemies which is useful for crowds so you can hit multiple targets.
JACK! If your reading this buried treasure maps DO have treasure on them BUT you accidentally turned yours into a normal map by right clicking I believe! If you find another one just don't click on it and then follow the x, when your at the x, dig down and there is a chest that can have diamonds!!!
Another useful tip, Jack, is that if you want your glisten to have more strength (Be shinier) you can go in accessibility settings and it should be there. An option to change the strength of glisten.
Jack, at those underwater structures, you can make a brush and do archaeology. Theres bits of sand and gravel that look different and give loot (like the sniffer egg and pottery sherds)

Jack the impaling enchantment might not be too useful for you because the trident is a rare item. However if you do get a trident then it makes its throws do more damage.
Jack if you are reading this villager trading can be very useful if you do it correctly. By getting certain types of villagers you can get diamond tools with emeralds. To get Emeralds you can trade for 32 sticks for one emerald. If you want to do this you can watch a video on villager trading.
You can make a brush using a stick, copper and a feather in order to look for special items in suspicious sand and gravel (which have a different texture than normal sand and gravel), that can be found in ocean ruins (the ones with the drowneds) and desert temples. You might get a sniffer egg, that you can lay down in order to have a new friend :D

I have it set to left-handed too. Looks kinda cursed at first but you get used to it. Especially since most items don't flip properly, so things like mutton look like you're holding a dagger.
You can only get amythyst shards from fully formed amythest clusters, which are the crystal-shaped ones. They must be fully grown, or else they won't drop the shards
Hay Jack. The villagers harvest the crops on the farm now and you can't get them off them unless their inventories are full at which point they drop the items but they will use the crops to breed instead
Jack should craft bookshelves and place them one block away from the enchanting table. That will allow the table to increase in level giving you better enchants
jack here is a version with proper spelling: to avoid animals getting out a fenced area from you forgetting to shut the gate make some carpet (2 pieces of wool horizontally next to each other) and place it on the top of the fence you can now jump over the fence but the animals cant
The glistening can be changed with a texture pack Mojang think it’s too distracting for the glistening or something like that, new ones nowhere near as good.
Jack villagers can give some really good stuff like enchanted diamond stuff and enchantment books once leveled up also those little structures with no loot and even some other structures have special sand and gravel which when you use a brush on can give you cool items
