People don't know the difference between introversion and shyness. Introversion is a personality trait where individuals feel more comfortable and energized in quiet, low-stimulation settings. They prefer small gatherings or alone time to recharge after social interactions.Shyness is a feeling of discomfort or apprehension in social situations. It often involves a reluctance to engage with others, especially in unfamiliar or large group settings. Shy individuals may find it challenging to initiate conversations or interact confidently with people they don't know well. Remember being an introvert is not a problem. There are lots of successful introverts. If you shy it's doesn't necessarily mean that you are introvert. You maybe extrovert. You may want to make lots of friends talk with lots of people but can't do that because you are shy. But introverts prefer to talk less make less friends and prefer small groups.

I feel the pain in that girls voice 😢 i am an introvert too even though i know the answer or i have more knowledge then other people in the class i am unable to say anything..i cant communicate with people easily some people just called me mute, awkward .nobody understands what it is like living with this even though you want to talk but you cant.
