I think Queen Charlotte isn't coddling Georgie about the death of his daughter because he is the Prince Regent - acting as the king because George III can't. She stays composed as the queen and might think he should be more composed as the future king. If he had taken his marriage more seriously, he would have had more than one heir with his wife before running off to live the playboy life. Now his estranged wife has gone through menopause and can't have more children. People think Queen Charlotte is being mean to her kids, but they are spoiled brats who don't care if their bloodline ends.
The person that died is her son daughter with his grand child so she lost two successors of the throne in one go ,if the grand daughter did died and the great grand child lived then they wouldn't have resorted in finding a heir because the baby would've go on to rule after the grand father passed, or if the great grand child died and the mother lived her could have add another child to succeed after her when it's her time to rule that's why the pressure falls now on the remaining children to come up with a heir because there big brother is going to be the next king but does not a successor after him and his wife is two old to have more children and if there no blood line then they have to find some long last distant family members to carry on the blood line I would be upset too to see you provided the country with fifteen possible heir and the next successors after them is taking it lightly

Dowager is a widow whose husband held a title, such as Violet Bridgerton, the Dowager Vicountess because her dead husband was the vicount. Princess Augusta's husband died before becoming king, hence she was known as the dowager princess. George III became king on the death of his grandfather George II.
She was the Dowager Princess because her husband Frederick died while he was the Prince of Wales. Their son George inherited the crown from his grandfather, George II.
Right she never got the title of queen mother because her husband never ascended the throne. He died before his father and so when George’s grandfather the king died George ascended the throne and princess Augusta was the dowager princess because she was the widow of the late prince of wales at that point.
Jacqueline Avant was more than the wife of a music producer. She was a prolific woman who also happened to be the mother-in-law of Ted Sarandos, CEO of Netflix. Tragically, she was brutally murdered in December 2021. It was shocking and devastating. But she shared her personal fascination and interest in the real historical Queen Charlotte with Ted - she had even purchased some of the Queen’s handwritten letters at auction. Giving Queen Charlotte of Bridgerton her own spinoff originated with Mrs. Avant, and Ted brought the idea to Shonda. Sadly, she never got to see the project come to life. Mrs. Avant and her husband are Black cultural icons and her hand in this masterpiece deserved to be noted.
