I have just gotten rid of BTS addiction It was so hard & there were moments when I couldn't help crying I miss them so much though But I want to go to heaven & BTS won't help me fulfil what I want although they make me ecstatic I truly hope they will be muslims one day Not just because I adore them but also because they will be the cause of many people converting to Islam due to them being idols of millions of people

Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful" (Ali 'Imran 3: 31) In the hadith narration of Ath Thobroni, from ‘Aisyah radhiyallahu‘ anha, Rasulullah sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: لَا يُحِبّ �£َحَد قَوْمًا إِلَّا حُشِرَ مَعَهُمْ يَوْم الْقِيَامَة "It is not someone who loves a people but he will be gathered with them on the Day of Judgment" That is if you idolize k-pop idols or BTS to excess, then you will gather with those who don't know whether they will gather in Heaven or Hell? while the Prophets / Apostles are guaranteed to be in Heaven. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)said: �£َوْثَقُ عُرَى الْإِيمَانِ الْحُبُّ فِي اللَّهِ ، وَالْبُغْضُ فِي اللَّهِ "The strongest rope of faith is love because of Allah and hate because of Allah. Allah says: يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنۡ تُطِيۡعُوا الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا يَرُدُّوۡكُمۡ عَلٰٓى اَعۡقَابِكُمۡ فَتَـنۡقَلِبُوۡا خٰسِرِيۡنَ O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will [then] become losers. (Ali'Imran 3:149) So as a Muslim you should follow those people who are steadfast in deen and the person who is not trangressing or doing haram things...while spoken about celebrities, firstly note that music, singing,dancing and acting is Haram and strictly prohibited in islam, as music deviates us from true path and remembrance of Allah as it is the tool of shaitaan to misguide us A man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment) saying, "When will the Hour be?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "What have you prepared for it?" The man said, "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Apostle." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be with those whom you love." i used to be a kpop fan but until recently [couple of months ago] my interest in it gradually weakened and eventually i wasn't so much interested to listen their music or vlive or anything. it was just this feeling that simply liking them and then following them takes away your precious time that you should spent on other good things. i thought if i lose touch with Kpop then this 'habit' of me will go away or at least become less stronger.☺

When I really started getting deep into kpop, I started noticing a TON of changes in me, I started feeling quite self conscious about my appearance, I would skip prayers just cause I wanted to finish vlives and I would spend almost the whole day watching their videos, I realized today how much of a negative impact it has truly had on my life and I'm trying harder now to cut it off and focus more on Allah and Islam. @Daisy Memphis ok as you tell your story I really wanted to tell you this that I'm a girl from india I reallly love,adore,admire bts they were like my energy boosters I watch them 24/7 every day I woke up I watch their news, read articles about them and all day what I do was wasting my time in watching their videos,Mvs doing everything related with bts my mom has always stopping me from indulging in them so much when I first started this affection my mom told me to stop watching their mvs I didn't knew there name at that time and I stopped....after some time I got curious and one day I search their names than they appear on my insta I started to follow some fan accs and that moment I didn't realize that I was falling into that deep well... after that I became an army I started making their fan arts download their songs mvs loving them crazily I was an army for 4 years...but a week ago my mom said I told you earlier not to like them but all you do is watching them all day not even pray or worship and that time I found that loving them is not bad but they actually make you far from our "Allah" we didn't even realize what wrong we're doin but all we do is forgetting our lord and giving our most time to them then my mother told me you're a muslim and you should do those deeds which will benefits you in your grave which will make you a good girl which turn you towards allah you're following satan loving them makes you far from allah and his worship.... so my advice to you is to stop loving them I know it's very hard I also loved them but I stopped and leave everything related with bts I've dltd their pictures,videos, apps, my fan account so I suggest you as a muslim girl liking them is not a good thing they'll make you fall in love with them and will take you far from allah loving them was my worst experience ever as that time I forgot my allah at that moment... so all I want to say that leave them stop watching them daily instaed read quran, worship allah I know I've said alot sorry but I just wanted you to know...

Ashamed to say that I even used to finish the prayer as soon as possible and used to delay to say the prayers in time.. used to stay up late and missed fazar.. also dreamt about how it would be like dating Kim Taehyung ..astagfirullah.. may Allah forgive me.. But Alhamdulillah I already got over the addiction and I do try to say my prayers in time now.. It's not that I do not totally listen to music or K-pop, or watch kdrama or Netflix serieses .. I do.. but in a limited way you know.. I hope I would be a greater version of practicing Muslim by trying.. make Dua for me .. and may Allah help us to stick to the right path.. Amin..

I was addicted to K-dramas but God helped me and I stopped it . First I told myself that we wanna stop watching k-drama but it wasn't by my hard.I told and told and finally I felt wanna make it happen . It was really hard and I also cried! (I took a picture of my crying face too) . A week passed . Suddenly I got that oh I even forgot k-drama exits! I had forgot it completely! And so now when I see that pic, I think that it wasn't hard at all!

I am a Muslim and I love BTS very much, they have a great positive impact on me, such as the love of the soul and others. You know that because you love them too, but I weigh between my love for them and for studying and also for worship, worship is the most important thing I have this thing is certain and I do not compare them because they are not Muslims Really as well, I know that there are many forbidden things in the k-pop, but I love them for their relationship with themselves and with others. They are really great and they are skilled in voices, dancing, etc.

Haram things are those which are explicitly mentioned in Quran and Hadith whereas there are things such as music,cinema,paintings and other worldly activities which have its good and bad aspects. Anything which prevents you from Worshipping Allah automatically becomes impermissible but if we do that activity in moderation where we attain its benefits and do it in a certain limit where it doesn’t LEAD us to sin, it’s fine. Watching videos on RU-vid can have negative affects on u and might affect your religious obligations to Allah, but that doesn’t mean it becomes prohibited forever, it just means that it is coming in the way of ur relation with Allah and at that time u r committing sinful acts and hence it become haram. According to ur logic even u r committing haram acts by using RU-vid!

I do disagree with your POV on music (btw I am not talking about popular music in the west by A list celebs but the actual art that music can bring) I think u r completely wrong about films etc I believe it to be just a delay in realisation. I mean the printing machine and microphones were considered absolutely haram at one time, now all Quran is printed. I think sometimes our conservative nature harms us a bit. Then again there is no verse proclaiming music to be haram or any art. It might or can be considered makruh.But haram? I do not think so. Listening to music or watching media products is not equivalent to zina or shirk or consumption of alcohol
Agreed. Moderation in every aspect of your life. Even in your worship. If you too obsessed, you will pray non-stop without do anything else so it is haram. You think of Allah until you be crazy because you can't found the answer is also haram. You love your parent so much even though they teach you the bad thing is also haram. I worry a lott about sisters liking idols because kpop industry is different . The celebritys I liked backed then werent all in your face like the way bts for example are . But that is a way for them to earn fans and attention the constant update makes one crave more and more . So just be aware of itt :)) . And love urself more than you love them , anythingt that they show is what they want you to see .
@@tasneemshariif8788 actually it's the opposite for me, now even my family says that they noticed I'm becoming a better person and a better Muslim since I started to discover BTS. I know it sounds weird but I was actually very depressed before and I didn't pray or spend any time on worshipping but after I discovered BTS, they reminded me that I need to love myself and appreciate everything around me and work hard. so now I'm working hard to go to heaven and I'm praying for them because they helped me get closer to Allah

During Ramadan I am distancing myself from bts, who I completely love but I have to love allah more. I am so happy with being away from it as I can focus on my own deen and better myself as a Muslim, and I want to carry on after Ramadan, but I know this will be difficult as I relied previously on bts for so much of my happiness but inshaallah I can find that happiness and even more with allah in this life and the hereafter 💜
Rida Idrees I’m exactly in the same boat as you I’m also trying hard to distance myself from bts cuz this world is so temporary like right now it seems missing their content or listening to their new music is really bad but when we are in the graves that will be the last thing we think about. MAHER - SAMI it’s the fact that it is music and dancing and the sexualisation (whether it be straight or gay) that make it haraam and I acknowledge that which is why I am trying to keep a distance now. They’re message of positivity and self love a great message, but allah swt’s message is much greater
I stopped listening to music in general and being an army just 5 days ago, not gonna lie it's hard since i've been living this lifestyle for 7 years, but Alhamdulilah Allah wanted to guide me, being obsessed with celebrities is not good, whether you are Muslim or not. Life is just a little moment, and it's a test Allah made for us, our time in Jahanam or Jannah will be infinit, so let's not waste life and do our best to get to Jannah InshAllah❤️
