It seems a bit late in the day that Nigerians are only just rising up from many years of slumbering and snoring on a bed that is almost submerged in flood waters. For example, the manner in which Tinubu superintends over his vassal state of Lagos has been a slap in the face for millions of Nigerians born and bred in Nigeria's commercial hub. Tinubu has been nothing but an absentee emperor of Lagos State whose bidding must be done by governors he hand picks every four years. We all know better now why Tinubu won't let go of his strangle hold over this particular vassal state of his. I hope Lagosians will, at least, prompt an investigation into how Dangote's 100 million American dollars paid for the tract of land housing his refinery has been disbursed or perhaps shared amongst the light-fingered political elites of the state.
