i am obsessed with building greenhouses in the sims 

I would love to see you build a nice, larger scale house with a big conservatory/sunroom using this greenhouse kit!

I actually enjoy the realism of having multiple shades of bricks. It's actually extremely difficult to match bricks - especially on older houses that have gone through renovations.

This kit is actually gonna make the eco lifestyle standing planters so much more useful imo since there’s not a ton of room for the regular 2x2 planters

I love when Snap randomly shows up. Sometimes it’s a pair of ears appearing, sometimes a raccoon tail 😂

Small cottages in the UK often have weird and wonderful layouts, as well as tiny spaces for things like kitchens, so this is believable!

Backstory for the house: Grandparents retirement home, they down sized when the kids moved out. Their granddaughter comes to stay on the weekends and school holidays as she lives in San Myshuno in a flat with her single mum who works weekends. The grandad loves to garden, while his wife makes flower arrangements to sell in town and at the church. They spend all their time in the garden and only use the house to eat and sleep. Because of this they recently invested in the new greenhouse and can’t wait to put it to use.

Can I just say, you are so good at building!!! You some how manage to make every single video completely new and interesting! Your videos always make me smile. Also your cat is adorable! 😅

Okay, here's a question: Do the new greenhouse windows slot onto rounded corner walls? ETA: I just tested, and they do NOT fit on rounded walls, only on flat walls... bummer!

The blue suburban to plant house arc we’re seeing is everything

I love this build. I feel you on the space issue. The only way I've had success with a smaller greenhouse is by deleting the floor so you can plant directly on the ground. Otherwise, it ends up being all clutter (I have no self-control) or the planters take up all the space because sims need a whole square mile to move around.

I’m gen x and the basement kit really made me happy 😆 so that’s my favorite, but I also like the greenhouse kit.😊

gardening is so op in the sims it’s hilarious

My trick to making gardens look less busy is to use green bushes, and low lying greenery and fill in the gaps with the smaller wildflower looking plants, sticking to like 4 colours maximum 🙂

Most dedicated gardeners would have a greenhouse for growing and a potting shed for the planting/potting table, compost, supplies and pots, etc. It saves precious space in the greenhouse. xx

The bends in the path in the garden doesn't really make sense unless you fill them with something to prevent people from just cutting across, such as flowerbeds.

This is such a good buyild and it shows off the greenhous kit rly well. I feel like the kids flower swing would work rly well in the garden under the big oak

Very realistic looking country cottage. You see these really small homes all over the UK and yes they really are that small in real life. Perfect job, half tempted to grab the new greenhouse pack myself now.

Really looking forward to this kit. I’ve just been building my own greenhouses with full walls of windows and skylight roofs rounded off. It’ll be nice to get actual greenhouse specific stuff.

Honestly, I’m way more excited about the basement kit and cannot wait to get home to my sims so I can build a house with a dirty little basement apartment. The family is going to have like a loner gamer kid that moves down there for privacy rather that share a room with their perkier twin. 😂 And I think when they grow up, the more social one will inherit the house and do the whole spouse/kids thing while they have their basement dwelling sibling forever because they really love each other despite being very different. ❤️

I love this cottage and I am so excited to use actual greenhouses now! The fact that this build is so tiny and cramped makes it feel like a historical home lol. 💗

Have you ever tried using platforms to do stairs? It's honestly pretty fun- you can make some cool layouts with them. I had a staircase with 3 platforms that went along the edge of the wall- I used different wall heights slowly getting shorter to act like a railing and put columns between them to almost make windows, and it made for a really cool open view kitchen concept. The stairs led to some bedrooms upstairs, and I imagined kids sneaking down the stairs to watch mom and dad watch movies or sitting on the stairs watching mom make cookies

I love your builds. So pretty! I have friends that only use their greenhouse to start plants and then they transfer them outside, so your greenhouse is perfect.

The window with the chickenwire instead of glass is perfect for chickencoops. I put the henhouse from Cottage Living in it, so the chickens can run freely and safe from foxes and cats. Makes the game so realistic.

I normally never buy kits because I feel like they don’t give us enough. But when I saw the greenhouse kit I just knew that I wanted it. I always wanted some kind of greenhouse to grow plants in and training up the gardening skills.

Over all it's nicely made. The bedrooms I would have switched around with child's room being the smaller one. Most people would say it's the overwhelmingly logical thing to do. I do love the greenhouse kit.

I hate it when people say we are building fake greenhouses. When I make a greenhouse it works--so they are not fakes.

floor plan stressed me out so much lmao landscaping and the green house is so gooood though!!

You could potentially extend that hallway taking away 2 squares of the bedroom and make a small corridor with a door to the bedroom on one side and a door to the bathroom on the other.

I'm crying this build reminded me so much of my family's summerhouse 🥹🥹🥹 it has a lot of garden space and like a tiny house with tiny bedrooms and a tiny kitchen so it really reminded me of it. But mine has a basement so you really should've went for it 🤪

My greenhouse is long and narrow and includes the flower arranging table lots or decor lots of small planters boxes and the microscope. It's great as summer produce can be grown in winter. Even a two day long blizzard.

I think it should’ve been for a older person with no kids who retired, that way you could make it a bathroom for guests, but I love the greenery and greenhouse.

I love landscaping i tend to go overboard with plants and flowers in every build

I love this build. I’d maybe get rid of the dining table and chairs, and instead make it a 3x1 bathroom so the only bathroom isn’t an en-suite.

I think the kits have a lot of potential, but I would really like to see the team work more on revamps. I think it would be really cool if fans actually work in game as cooling items that help keep your Sims cool in the summer. We have the in-game thermostat but it really sucks. I think it would also help if they revamped seasons as well. Like having plants go into dormant States instead of actually disappearing when a new season arrives. I would also like to see get to work get a revamp. I think working with modders to enable Sims to have realistic births would add a very emotional element to the game. I know this is a lot but I really feel and care for the game. I think the Sims has a lot of potential to be so much better than it already is.

Honestly the sims always has wonderful timing for me. Like literally last week I was building a house and I felt it need something in the back yard and I REALLY wanted to make a greenhouse but I was having such a horrible time 😭

I've built a huge victorian glasshouse... I'm enjoying it. My sims live amongst their crops and plants! :) I'd love to see what lilsimsie does with that idea... ;) I wish there was a carpet that was actual dirt, so I could multi-platform my garden inside. :( ?Did you know; There was a carpet in Sims 3 called 'sand carpet' that kids could build sand castles in?
