Hello everyone! thank you so much for watching my SMALLEST LUXURY BAG IN THE WORLD ! ( unboxing and review ) jacquemus le chiquito, winter 2019 / 2020
Earrings: Zara a while ago, you can find loads of dupes on internet.
Guys I actually think they sent me a fake bag! I will keep you updated, but the hook does not match any bags I have seen online. I AM SHOCKED ! also since the video I noticed may more flaws !
I try my hardest to provide the best links, thay are mostly the actual brands selling the items themselves, some may be affiliated. (If there is any)
*I don’t like good girl from Carolina Herrera (I feel like I have to mention it because people recommended it to me daily 😅)

My bag came from Jacquemus’ website in worse condition and I emailed them pictures. They had me return it to them and they sent me a new one. They’re really just making them to push them out and there’s no quality control.

It's SO tiny! lol the size reminds me of a purse I had in kindergarten where I had to fold pieces of gum in half to fit them in there. Cute! Sucks that it's not what you wanted

This is the only bag of any designer that I would only buy a fake. It’s not even worth buying a real one since the production is better in China than Jacqemus himself.

@Yandan Shao True Jacquemus is truly remarkable esp at his age! Every design of him is unique which is one of the things I love about him. I found these minuscule bags of him ridiculous at first but after watching him and browsing through his collection, I instantly fell in love with him and the brand.

Interesting review. Nothing slips thru your attention 🤣. It smells like plastic because I reckon it uses “split leather.” Lots of bags in that price range are sprayed on with many layers of paint to hide the “flaws.” The leather are grade B or C-- they’re from areas of the cow with inherent blemishes, like around the neck with crease marks, veining, or bug bite scars. Brands uses this type of leather because it reduces the wastage. (On the other spectrum, Prada is very picky and supposedly only uses the cow’s butt area, and the rest of the leather piece is discarded).

The bag and the color are adorable and I would wear it across the body. Other than that, I am so glad you talked about all the details that you noticed, because I think exactly the same. In addition to what you said, my strong impression is that that's not leather at all, but some recycled plastic they mass produce for peanuts in China or Vietnam, or some place like that and they attach those "authenticity" cards to fool rich and naïve customers, because... who's gonna check? Who's gonna know? Everyone 'believes what is written more than what their eyes can see and what their fingers can feel. So, good for you, Mila, you are not one of those sheep that they can shear. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the 470 euro bag is a sham and it cost them 4.7 euros to produce. I discovered your channel a few days ago and love it, it's so refreshing ☺

I got a fake one from a boutique for $17. I like it. I was looking online at the real ones but after your review I’m not going to buy. Anyways, your so pretty and I like your personality. The bag you got is very pretty but I can understand your feeling of it’s craftsmanship. I recently am intrigued by Jacquimus, and I like the super small bag as well as the totes, floppy hats and the style of clothing.

Perhaps you got a fake by mistake? The fakes are everywhere, Jacquemus’s Simon Porte himself complains a lot about this problem. Investigate it, I think...

I did contact them, they told me every single bag sold at Luisaviaroma are authentic, I sent them pictures and they confirmed me it was. 🤷🏻‍♀️

someone bought it and they send a fake one back to them, which they sent to you without knowing. Take very clear pictures and submit them to their customer service. you really need to get your money back on this.

Id say a big part of it is the brand name, but as she said, this bag is not mass produced. A lot of the effort that goes into making the bag is by hand, and for the amount of perfection and luxury material expected from a designer bag, it becomes expensive to pay for that effort. :)

It's not fake, the quality from Jacquemus is hit or miss. I think the steady increase in prices in his collections reflects his growing popularity and establishment of his name and brand, it doesn't necessarily (okay, let's be real, it definitely doesn't) reflect better materials or better construction. You're paying mostly for the design and the name now. Simon is a remarkable artist, but his talent is in visual storytelling.

the chiquito has a lot of fakes that looks exactly like an original which is so sad. Is Luisaviaroma an authorized reseller of Jacquemus? Jacquemus authorized only a few resellers like Farfetch and ssense im not sure about luiusaviaroma. Also sometimes preloved bags could pass as brand new so just be careful next time!
