ENPO has every right to fight for the injustices that they've faced .. However, they should also be aware that it is they themselves who elect their own representatives and they are far evenly represented than any other tribes or regions in Nagaland.. They should first sort out the reasons why the benefits are not being percolated to the grassroots via their representatives and if their representatives are doing something wrong than they should not be hand in glove with them during elections and elect them again and again..

If this are the trends of one state where all the major establishment are being focused in just selected places, can we still say that equality and justice is been maintained? Out of 16 districts in Nagaland , 6 are from Eastern Nagaland but still this 4 districts aren't counted when decision for major developmental activities are been taken. Yet , people proclaimed that Eastern Nagas have 20 MLAs , we are being given DUDA , that we enjoy 25 ℅ reservations and what not. But the truth are: 1. One have to understand that we had 35 members in erstwhile Regional Council members. Now , the question is where is and who have taken 15 missing seats from Eastern Nagaland? The only few people have answer for that but they will never tell us the truth . 2.DUDA was created inclusively for the Eastern Nagaland but in reality . Zunheboto , Wokha,Meluri( Phek) and Peren are ignorantly put under DUDA and they enjoy the same status with rest of the district under DUDA. 3. Implementation of job reservations for 41 years have given no positive development in employment sector. It is so provoking to know that not even a single department, out of 7 to 8 departments till date. In fact , 41 years of Reservations and 54 years after statehood , the ratio of Eastern Nagas in employment sector is only 6 to 7 ℅ . And out of this tiny percentage, 90℅ are third and fourth grade. Taking all this into account, the Eastern Nagas thought that for us, the Nagaland is the only solution. Therefore; " WE DEMAND: FRONTIER NAGALAND ".

Financial power given to CM no doubt, but sir u being the elected member why don't u stand for truth and spill out the things done by the CM? Why don't u question the CM for looting money and buying lands and constructing the luxurious hotels and resorts in Kohima and Dimapur which u can clearly see with your own naked eye?.

Respected sir about the geography land area of Eastern Nagaland you are very much wrong. Person like should first researched and speak. The land area of Mon=1786km^2 Kiphire=1130 Longleng =885 Noklak=1152 Tuensang=1728 Shamator=469 So total ENPO area is 7150 sq^2 and total land area of Nagaland is 16579KM^2. So percentage is 7150/16759 *100 = 42.66%. ENPO land area is 42.66% This geographic record is latest as per 2023. About population see latest 2023 election electoral votes. ENPO will be crossing at least 35% but in district like Dimapur many votes of eastern Naga are included at least 25-30% of votes. If u add this upon the population of ENPO will be nearly 37-40% of population of Nagaland.

Regarding Naga underground or so called freedom fighter, what Sir Aso said is 100/100% right. So, if all Naga public wants peace and full development then tell those friction to go back to the jungle or surrender before Indian Army so as our Naga honorable MLA as said without further delay .

He should hv spoken more about DUDA, it was created exclusively for EN in 2003; but now peren Phek Wokha Zhbt hv encroach into the Deptt. You are very wrong Sir, if ADC Autonomous District Council was constituted for ENPO there will be no power for MLAs that's completely wrong, even Assam , Tripura, Meghalaya , Mizoram they have ADCs & MLAs under sixth schedule . The 6th Schedule of Indian Constitution was added to the Constitution to safeguard the rights of the indigenous minorities who resided in a larger, primarily white state. It permits greater political sovereignty and decentralised government in tribal areas of NE

40 Western Nagaland MLAs also need to plan out policies and get ready for any eventualities. Looks like things aren't going well as anticipated. And, we shouldn't be complacent to this issue any more. Remember on the 5th of August 2019, in a blink of an eye, PM Modi abrogated (Jammu & Kashmir) Article 370. I can sense things are going in the same direction as J&K episode. Wake up! God help us all.

I'm not here to justify anything unless we see the light of day ie, in a few days. Azo is someone who speaks his mind without fear and hesitation but I defer in some of the statements he has made (and im not going to answer if anyone wants to listen to my deferred opinions). Eastern Nagas are not less than any Nagas that live beyond the territory of Eastern areas but to this day, even the young generation doesn't want to listen to the plight and the cries of the Eastern people. How will you accept us when you don't want to accept us in your heart? For example, many would say banning institutions or blocking any economic activities in the Eastern region is only causing problems for their people and would dare to say leave it as it is, it's their loss. That's the mentality you all have for us. The famous line quoted by our present External Affairs Minister(EAM) JaiSankhar ie, Europe's problems are the world's problems and the world's problems are not Europe's problems. I think this line matches our context too, people have to grow out of this mindset if only want to live as brothers and sisters. Thank you

I should let everyone know that instead of criticising the Eastern Nagas, the other tribes must know that their respective districts are also lacking behind. Your constituencies, towns and villages are also being debrived off funds and opportunities by our GON. They are not as developed as they should be under 60 years of statehood. Therefore, go out and complain, question and demand the GON like the Eastern Nagas. Question Home minister on police recruitment issue. Question Forest Guard issue. Question major development focusing only on Chumukedima instead of Phek, Peren, wokha,etc.. Azo said something which really disappointed me.He said Phek is also not better than Eastern Nagaland but they are not complaining. That means they are satisfied with what they have. Well, I think you're wrong Azo sir. Also, we all heard him saying that CM has the Financial power. His power is mostly focused only on certain areas as we can all see. Yes Every part of Nagaland gets fund allocation for development. But if you compare the fund allocated in Kohima,Dimapur and Chumu, it's not satisfactory. That's why your MLAs even after stealing money, can develop a little with the remaining amount. Where as our MLAs only get rich and no money is left for development. Note that every MLA takes development money in their own pocket but fund allocation to your MLA is much more. Therefore I request our Naga brothers to please support us and not criticise us. I recall when Sir. Azo was PWD (R & B ) minister, he captured all the sectional Assistant (SA) posts when the eligible candidates from Eastern Nagaland areas were denied opportunity although when they equally applied through backdoor, but fortunately Azo candidates got appointment.

There is no doubt the Eastern MLAs are all answerable to their constituents. But the matter is not that simple. Starting from keeping the eastern areas as regional council during state inception, the advance tribes always had the upper hand in terms of money, education and economy. Then govt and govt of the day interpreted 371A as per their needs. Mention may be made that in 371A it is written that 50% of all the funds allocated for Nagaland should go to eastern areas , which was never done. The starting line was never the same. Bur thats ok. The comment made by honourable MLA regarding the sentiment of Rio towards Eastern area is not that simple either. Rio knows that without the help of Eastern MLAs , CMship will always be contested. So what he does is, sponsor candidates from eastern areas who won’t bite him back during election. when they win, all the funds from those MLA departments will be handle by him as per his wish. “Election jeeti le bhi apuni ke khetai kena kohima jabo le paripo le bhi nahoi. Ami laga vote karne kiman poisa” is the reply by my people who goes to jhum field for his subsistence farming. Rio exactly knows this and plays with money during election. even for a merger dev activities in eastern areas, its his people, his contractor who will take up the work order. Money is never circulated in eastern economy. Now my people have realised that, so as long as we remain together with u, we will never ever catch up with you guys. the system itself is designed in this way. So just say Amen to what we are asking and we will be on our way. we are not asking from your plate.
