Here’s an idea - vulnerability should increase with each use of the clinch, simulating the fighters awareness to his opponent’s game plan. (As I realize some brilliant person has already said but I’ll keep this here anyway)
That second fight, those type of players who spam clinch and submissions, it’s like they are using lag switch or are just aware of their bad connection, 9 out of 10 times exactly this type of players lagging so bad… also there is a delay, I press the button but my fighter reacts like 1-1.5 sec later
You losing tht fight is crazy 😂😂but u right fr,you can hit someone with 20 different strikes n they can throw 2 or 3 of the SAME punches and they’ll daze you😭especially with leg kicks,shit is crazy lmao
Id love to see ea increase vulnerability when you are reaching out to grab the back of someone's neck you should be at like peak vulnerability for most strikes. Also make it easier to land punches and knees when they're shooting takedowns, even if you know its coming and time it perfectly it won't land for some reason. In real life grapplers have to respect good strikers, set up takedowns and be defensively sound when corraling an opponent against the cage to clinch up with them
I didn't think they could make a worse game than ufc 4, I was wrong. Striking is still solid id say It has its problems and marching forward with punches looking to land on the block is still meta, but the patches have been helping balance it out. They had like infinite stamina when it first came out. Kneebow spamming way easier to deal with, spinning elbow is not worth spamming anymore (finally). The problem is the grappling system is even worse than ufc4 and whoever presses the grappling issue usually will win
YT vods are energetic, positive, insightful. Live stream is negative, quiet and only responsive to toxic behavior. I love the YT Pry but the live streams are caught up in community negativity.
Ufc 5 grappling system is so terrible. The new submission mini game makes zero sense, the clinch is the same nonsense from ufc 4 copy and pasted, and its even easier to deny transitions on 5. I can get anyone in side control and keep them there the whole round. Then in Mount if I get postured up I can actually block break now. Feel like I need a shower when I want to use a grapple heavy fighter
i love how you play Prox, the level you reached on this game is really spectacular. However, i may be wrong, but how can you say you are the best or the cleanest izzy out there when you whip so many times? Most of your punches which go to the head are blocked and most of your kicks don't touch your opponent, especially at the beginning of each fight. No disrespect, just saying my opinion.
