The F9 is a car that if the AI had it, we'd all be screwed, it has an incredibly high skill cap to drive at the limit. I like it now, but I'd always prefer the Bronco or RS200
Top things that dubs have that make him special: 1. His voice (u have a chill voice) 2. His vibes (he got pretty chill vibez) 3. His quality (he got a pretty high quality on his videos
There is an interesting issue with this game: You can winMOST races with supercars tuned for "Rally" like a Saleen S7 with some dirt tires and call it a day, because you never get into the thick of the nature. Eliminator has the opposite problem: Road/supercars just can't compete. They aren't tuned to have rally or offroad tires or suspension, so throwing a Ferrari as a Tier 7 when 95% of your race is "over the hills and through the woods", just doesn't make sense.
Could you do an educational video on what cars to avoid taking in the eliminator? The other day I was in a level 4 mini buggy and off-road i was beat by a level 2 Audi rs6. The mini just couldn't reach the speed of the Audi.. MG is agile but TERRIBLE top speed and doesn't deserve that high level. Would love a video from you on this.
Quick one on drops: I believe that at least some drops are taken out once the arena shrink finishes and the timer resets. That’s why you saw that one vanish as you got to it. I’m basing that, rightly or wrongly, on there being no pop up in the feed for someone getting a new car drop and it’s something I’ve seen quite a bit since the most recent hot fix. Not saying there aren’t invisible cars though!
The lag thing is SO much worse. Get a Deberti or some other very tail happy car, and have that happen while you are trying to change directions. I'm also SO glad to see you play more so you can see how bad some of these cars are. I've had like a drop level 3 car, then level up by sheer elim wins up to the Ferrari, and it's like a freaking punishment for doing well. The Cent at level 10 is also garbage and easily beaten by a bunch of the level 8 and 9 cars.
The issue with lag on challenge happens to me regardless of what I do. If im leaving the house for example, it always freezes for a bit, despite the game still running, like you say, in the background. Def not gamebreaking, but still not fun
Hey DUBS, I tried your strategy just going for it at the beginning last night and won my first game of the eliminator! Enjoy your Videos! FYI I don't have that hang or pause you get when challenging another player. I'm playing on Xbox Series X. I wonder if it's something to do with your PC configuration.
you dont have to go to the area on the map to play, if you go to the online tab in your menu it has a button to start a eliminator game. Go to online. then select one of the left 2 settings, idk which it is, but it shows you stuff like arcade and eliminator.
This guy on eliminator I think hooked me up. I needed the finish 30th or better. I went wrong way my level 2 car couldn't make it up the hill his level 6 zoomed up. I noticed he was right near finish shitting waiting. When it got under 30 he then drove and finished. Think he waited so I just get the check lmao
@@antoniocai3960 It wouldn’t be called the eliminator and it would have a very different dynamic due to the physics of beamng. Anyway, the eliminator is based on Battle Royale or Showdown play styles which appear in tons of games.
The spa ferrari is actually really fast if you can get it going. I've beat a few rank 8s and 9s with it in the field area. If you have obstacles though... good luck lol
1:40 Usually while streaming 95% of the issues happen because of the network. It happened to me as well, My pc build is strong, and my net is average+ so in game I don't experience lags or frame drops, however when I try to stream on discord or twitch the frames drop
The level 7 Ferrari is a gem, but only to those who are able to keep control of it. If you can manage the RWD and the chassi balance, the moment you get on a more open road or offroad bit, it just goes - I've been able to do 160MPH+ with it offroad on proper conditions, but I also am on simulation steering at all times, so if I screw up once with it, I'm pretty much done. It's a challenge in The Eliminator, but if you get it right, you'll definitely feel good about it.
@@DUBSmb If you don't know when it's best to stick to the road rather than just going straight up offroad, then you still have a lot to learn about the meta on this game mode lmao Not all head to head races are just point and go. Many times I had a race finishing slightly to the left or right while I was in the highway, for example, and the best course of action was to stick to the road to get more speed and/or get out of the road at the right time when the path was clearer, rather than just go mad between trees and stuff - sure, it might be the most frequent option, but it's not what happens 100% of the time. You even did that on the final race on the mountain, did you just go straight? No, you went to the left, because if you went straight you'd suffer with the mountain elevation. Point and go might work very well with cars like the Brocky or the RS200, but for difficult cars to drive like the Ferrari I mentioned, you need to think twice if you have the chance - that race you got with the Focus wasn't the case, it was literally in the middle of mountains, so the fact it was that close was normal. The Ferrari is finnicky, hence why it needs a specific set of conditions to win in a head to head, and if a player masters those conditions, they'll be able to have the Ferrari on their favour rather than just thinking it's crap. But yeah, this game mode isn't as straight up as how you're saying it, so I should be the one asking what you're on about, to be completely fair - try doing what you're saying with the F9 against another Focus or an Exocet, for example: if you can't handle the F9 going straight through everything, especially if it's a dense path, it won't matter that it's a level 10 car: you'll be done.
I cant believe this dude. DUBS, how the hell did you win with an AMG-one but failed to win when you had that blue beast the last time you played the eliminator.
The first eliminator I played it was the final race and I was in a Centinario and the other guy was in a F9, he's just gonna beat me but he went through a small brush and hit a tree and I won. rip, and most of it was off-road
Dubs the reason why you are dropping frames is because it requires youre pc to do more work while pushing extreme quality graphics, depends also on the specs
The 2sec lag at the start of H2H races is a bug introduced with the 3rd dec update and it affects all PC users. Not memory or config related. Still waiting for PG Games to fix their mess.
How can I download any of DUBS tunes? In FH4 it was never an issue, and I can also download tunes from Silvy2k etc., but somehow even though I follow him on Xbox I can't see him under followed players?
if the game laggs when you stream try change so you stream of the CPUs or on the GPUs "power". So if the setting in stream labs is on gpu change it to cpu or the other way around
that was insane, in my oppinion if your close to final circle, never take a race car, always do offroad, never won an elim but got a brocky and came in 1s behind so 2nd place
I have a question , did they do some buff or nerf regarding the tiers of the cars ? Because when with a penhall i struggle to catch up to a vw golf on off road i'm asking myself some question
@@DUBSmb oh i know , it's juste that the Time necessary to get to top speed is quite long so in such a short distance i should close the gap by a bit It's juste an example , but it happened with a numerous of duel and other car combination, a thing i didn't have before the last update Well thanks for the Nice vidya btw
