Well you never know. Many have claimed to have been visited by Jesus in their dreams or during near death experiences. Of course some of these are certainly lies. And some of these are certainly just imaginative. But can we discount all of them? Personally I still hope one day Jesus will visit me in a dream. I would go as far as to say I think I would suffer a near death experience right now if it meant getting to spend a few minutes with him. You never know!

Took months when I returned too Christ, of giving my absolute most effort, to where i was a tad bit impatient but kept believing, i started getting so many signs it’s actually unbearable now. When i was first baptized in 2016, i left in 2017, I didn’t fully give my all but i came back this summer of 2023. Remember Jesus Told Thomas, you seen so you believe, blessed are those who don’t see but believe. God will not forsake you, SHOW GOD YOUR WORTHY FOR CONFIRMATION OF HIS EXISTENCE. I promise he will come through ✝️

My wife isn’t a believer but this show has had her asking me questions about Jesus when we watch it together this scene got me so pumped it’s my favorite episode and scene so far out of the whole series. To read the gospels and then see the scenes in the show play out help me to better visualize things when I read.

I'm tired of these tin-foil hat "Christians" hating on this show and nitpicking the technicalities of it rather than appreciating all the good it's doing in advancing the message of salvation. Please read Matthew 24:14: This Good News of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. I am currently taking a course through GraftedU called "Introduction to a Biblical Messicanic Worldview," which is being taught by Dr. Tom Blake. Dr. Tom states in the class that in the birth narrative of the New Conventant family, both Jews and Gentiles were together. Peter and Cornelius represented Jew and Gentile. Also, the Gentile part of the family was birthed out of the Jewish part of the family. The Gentiles who believe in Jesus as the Messiah are grafted into God's family. Furthermore, in Romans 11, Paul forsees this tension and brings clear warnings to the Gentiles right after he talks about the Gentiles being grafted into Israel's olive tree (Romans 11:19-23). Also, make sure to read the great unaswered prayer of Jesus in John 17:20-23. Jesus says "these," which represent the Jewish people, and "those," which represent the Gentile people (Israel and the Nations). Jesus also mentions oneness and unity five times in this prayer. He wants all of his children to get along by showing love and unity. Once this happens, Jesus will return and establish the New Jerusalem Garden City with his diverse family from all the nations. I JUST started to watch this show. Idk what’s happening to me but everything I see Jesus in a scene I start to cry. Idk why I’m such a wreck when I think about Jesus. I love him so much for what he’s done and knowing he is truth. My family is struggling and I know next year is going to be even harder. It’s becoming so easy to have complete faith in our Lord and savior. Praise Jesus 🙏

The Lord Jesus is everything we need. As we fix our eyes on Him, the rest falls to the wayside and we recognize that we have all we need as we have Him. We need only to rest in Him. Jesus Himself said the the work of God is to believe on Him. As we do so, He will lead us through the rest. I’m not sure what you and your family are going through, but a lot of the time Jesus appears clearer to us in the midst of our suffering, and is an ever present help. He is strong when we are weak, therefore we are strongest when weak and He is allowed to be our strength. I pray the comfort and help of the Lord for you and your family. ❤

I remember when i was watching His first appearance in the show, I got goosebumps and was shocked. Like even just seeing His hand, I knew it was Him and I got so emotional. I felt what Mary did moments later, this relief and comfort.

Search scripture to determine whether or not Jesus is the law of Moses. I don’t think He is. He came to fulfill the law of Moses. He obeyed it perfectly. I would even say He gave the law to Moses. But He is not the law of Moses itself. Dallas should not have had Jesus say that line. Jesus, being sinless and divine, would not have said something false about Himself.

Other than Jesus proclaiming to be the Messiah to his childhood friends, my favorite part about this scene is this; Mary’s (sister of Lazarus) eager shines like the sun. She is dying to hear Jesus say he is the Messiah. I want that for myself. My favorite verse in the Bible is Matthew 5:6. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.” I want to be eager for Jesus, all the time. ❤

I loved the episode. The chosen is getting better and better and there is a lot of scripture that makes it just that much better. The foreshadowing with Jesus standing at a tomb and hitting a nail in a cross. It is all amazing!!! And where they are portraying Martha and Mary in character is just so good, thus far season 3 is better than the first 2 seasons.

I've been a fan of The Chosen for a minute now and for me every episode finds a way to get better and better. We something get this idea that Jesus was a soft guy who was just kind and gentle with everyone but this sense showed the side of Him that's straight gangsta. I loved it!! Lol but in all seriousness, its gotten me and wife recommited to reading the Bible daily and The Chosen makes the Book come alive. I feel like the pacing of the Chosen is about to ramp up 10-fold. The first 2 seasons felt like the slow burn and then they hit the sermon on the mount at the finale of Season 2. They picked up with the sermon for season 3 and it's been off to the races since then. I suspect we will see his followers now healing and performing miracles in Jesus' name or at least they will return with those reports. I absolutely loved his conversation with James in episode 2 regarding healing. I think that spoke to so many people who are currently waiting to be healed within the church. But yea man, the Chosen is elevating their game in a massive way.

They did such an excellent job building up to the scene of Jesus revealing Himself as the Messiah. I mean, from having Him return to Nazareth and have common interactions with people who’ve known Him His whole life..to how they familiarized Him as the “son of Joseph”. My goodness, I began to catch on when they threw shots at him casually when He was going over the word. Couldn’t help but correlate such events with present day. We are so familiar with the surface of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that we often underestimate the power of such! This is why we have the common response of “no thank you” and “yeah, I know the Lord” when ministering to lost souls, but people are still living under the dominion of Satan (I too was one). We are so blind to the true work of God through Christ and His sacrifice and resurrection, that we consider the pursuit of the things of this world the priority and unwittingly presume Christ as the least of what we need..totally upside down. Sitting Him in the shelf of our lives during the week, then in sad attempt, putting him on like a fancy garment on Sundays to deceive ourselves and others to think we iight while walking around rotten inside. New-age Pharisees…yeah, we are fooling ourselves. We rejected Him then, and still do so today. Lord, have mercy on us and open the eyes of your people, wakening us from our spiritual slumber!

Love this breakdown of the scene!! Would love to see Ruslan do more breakdowns of The Chosen clips. For me watching this episode, showing how Jesus got rejected/misunderstood by the people closest to him was heartbreaking as well as comforting to me. I'm a Christian teacher (In a Christian school I might add) trying to reach out and share the gospel to some of my non-believing students but I got labelled as a "Religious Fanatic/Extremist" and they started to distance themselves from me. It was really hurtful and I was complaining "God if they don't want to know you...why do I even bother to try with them?" Hope this is not too much of a spoiler but later in the episode Jesus confronts his mother who is afraid after the whole "I am the Law of Moses" drama...and he says to her "I know it is scary...BUT even THEY need to know THE MESSAGE." So encouraging! I pray God gives me the continued strength and courage to keep sharing the good news with my students.

Seems your love for God is egoistic. Through the love for God, you are seeking a reward. The pure love for God does not look or pay attention to the outcome. Loving God for the sake of God is something different. And I bring you the example of a woman who was not of Christian faith, but who knew if Christ. She lived in the 7th century in Basra, Iraq. She was a mystic who did wander the streets of her city holding in one hand a bucket filled with water, and in the other a lot torch. When someone asked her why did she carry those, she answered: "with the water contained in the bucket I am going to extinguish the flames of hell; and with the torch I am going to set on fire paradise. Thus people will stop praising and loving God for the fear they have of hell, or the desire they have for paradise." In addition to this, she used to utter when she was in mystic states, "O God if I ever loved you for the fear of hell, then burn me in hell. If I ever loved you for the desire of Paradise, then lock me out of Paradise. But o God, if I ever loved you for your own sake and love alone, then do not hide your face to me..." This is love. Any other form of love that seeks a reward, is not worthy of God. Christ must be loved not because he will reward a faithful with paradise, or that he heals. Christ must be loved for him, and his sake alone. He must be loved even if he threw out in the fire of hell. A creature cannot force the Creator to put him here or there. Even if God will eventually send one to hell, that God deserves to be loved. We think in our own terms and make God behave as we want him to behave, only because we forget that the justice of God is not the justice of men. The scales of God are not the scales of men. God in his infinite might is free, and has the ultimate power to redeem a tyrant, and punish a meek, just person. And we, as creatures, are in no position to protest it.

It is in record several times. You’re right. My understanding is he thinks we believe in the same Jesus, but our Jesus is the true Messiah. I then still don’t understand why he defends the LDS faith so much. Obviously we love the people, but should he be trying to lead them to believing that our Jesus is the one true God?

The law of Moses is the covenant. Thus it was said, Obey Me and I will be your Elohim and you will be my people. Yahshua is the sacrifice of the renewed covenant, the lamb of the Elohim. They should have been careful as people of the lawlessness would love this. But then a place in Sheol is reserved to false teachers with worst torments.

I LOVE this scene as well. I got chills!!🔥👏🏽 Jesus Is telling them “you all need Me”. He Gives receipts, historical truths. The scene is crafted so well. I love the word ‘Jubilee’ Jesus Said He Is here for salvation. And the crowd slowly turned against Him. But in the end of the scene it was not yet His Time. So Jesus walked away of that trial and punishment.

JESUS was and still is the Savior of the Universe! Not just for this world but for the LORD's paradise to come. But here's the tricky part, scripture clearly says "On Earth as it is in Heaven. Lots that goes on here on Earth also happens up above in the Kingdom, and when there's suspicion and heated moments of Anger... it can have drastic consequences. This is why words like Faith, Hope & Love are so powerful to speak over your lives because it brings things in Unison with the Universe. Without Faith what else you got left? Possessions, no. That's empty. Focus on GOD's word and both teachings from Christ and Apostle Paul.. not any of these modern day false teachers I guarantee that!

When Jesus said "I am the Law of Moses", for those who know their Bible, they would agree that there's nothing wrong with this statement. Jesus is the word made flesh (John 1) and He also said to the Pharisee You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. John 5:39 So please stop being legalistic Pharisees.

People dont understand its about FAITH not sight. Thomas is called doubting Thomas because he had to see Jesus resurrected and feel the holes in his hands to beleive. You must have FAITH, if youcant beleive without seeing then you are of no use, he is explicit in this fact without FAITH you cant enter the kingdom.

I agree it’s about faith but god made us we are all valuable and we are all sinners. Faith is a beautiful thing but saying those who don’t have faith yet are of no use sounds a lot like them talking about the gentiles

Agree it was indeed a lovely reconstructuring of Jesus reading the scripture. However, even though Jonathan does a good job as an actor playing Jesus, he is a a wee bit too old. As we know , Jesus was crucified at 33 years of age and Jonathan certainly does not look 33!!!! Lol.

We are spirit, soul, and body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole SPIRIT and SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are created in the image of God ... Genesis 1:27 (KJV) So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And as you see from 1 John 5:7 He is 3 parts just as we are. The Holy Spirit, The Father, the Word The Holy Spirit, the Father, Jesus Spirit, Soul, Body There are other key verses we can fit together to know Jesus is our Creator. He is 3 parts, but one, just as we are. When we die we do not cease to exist. Our spirit and soul will continue on and we will feel the same (again, there are verses to let you know this)

Yeah but the Law of Moses CANNOT forgive sins. If He is Law just as this show claims, then either the Law is elevated to the level of God or Christ is lowered to the level of Moses and cannot forgive sins. Galatians 3:24-26 24 In fact, the Law was to be our teacher until Christ came. Then we could have faith and be acceptable to God. 25 But once a person has learned to have faith, there is no more need to have the Law as a teacher. 26 All of you are God's children because of your faith in Christ Jesus.

His "inability," if you will, to save them is contingent upon their believing themselves sufficient. Such a one prevents Jesus from saving them. The Father's love in giving us the power of free will renders Jesus unable to save them. In essence, they choose not to be saved, and Jesus cannot save one who rejects salvation.

You better stop doing that if you think their will has more power than the sovereign God of all creation. The Bible says no man can come to God by their own will, all are dead in their sins and unbelief, and unless the Father draws them to Christ they cannot be saved.

I enjoy the Chosen. I do wish they’d talk more about repentance. Maybe that will happen later on. I also think that when Jesus was tempted by Satan and how he used scripture to ward off Satan would be a powerful message. But seemed there was skipped.
