I am on the team that made this mod, I don't work on the mod, but I am on the same team working on Korea. This has been a major framework for all the other scenarios due to how polished it is compared to many others that are currently unpolished. Just a little tidbit of background of the Scenario team.

German Reich could have won with the Soviets and Americans had they been crushed during the operation overlord and they would have ceased helping the Bolsheviks and actually signed a peace treaty instead, they would have either backed off or helped Germany annihilate the commies.
@@zenoohshit5498 Not really. The only real thing they had a leg up on was rocketry. Other things, like the jet engine, the British had a plane, not to long after the Germans did. German tanks might have had some advantages on Allied tanks, but they also had a LOT of teething problems, and generally, the allied tanks were more reliable and easier to fix. And were eventually able to match German tanks in other fields.
I beat this mod really easily by just changing the unit design to 9/1s, infact when I got the notifaction that dday was happening I looked at the map and my troops had already defeated it, no battles, no landings, nothing, that easy
Not like the French citizens would let that happen. Or does HOI4 not address the issue that a subjugated country would be less productive than the homecountry?
@@anathardayaldar Imo the mod was actually made very poorly in that aspect. It should have massive debuffs for the germans so they can barely build anything and there should be some mechanic where units or manpower or equipment is stolen to send to the eastern front.
I'm new to the channel and I immediately subscribed after witnessing the goofy/light-hearted energy and the memes, yet being competent enough in the game to win despite the goofiness💜.
as much as I love Hoi4 on a global scale with it being a grand strategy covering whole continents, I really do like little mods like this where it focuses on one front, I think hoi4 really shines with mods like this sometimes

I've been watching your videos for the past 2 weeks and for the longest time i thought you had like 100K subs like the other hoi4 youtubers. I was suprised when i saw 13K. You deserve way more subs man for all the work you put into your channel.

1:19 at this point the Luftwaffe was already destroyed and the allies were arrays bombing factories meaning that this attempt to reindustrialise probably wouldn’t work

There is probably a universe out there that due to the allies failing D-day again and again, they pull resources going to the USSR in order to concentrate more resources towards a successful landing. Due to logistics and less lend-lease the Soviets start to stall once they reach France. The complete failure and embarrassment of their French offensive, loosing a million men, highlights the Soviet's logistical problem and their inability to provide for their troops. The Nazis stand in France and the Benelux, using better tactics and infantry, the fuel shortage has barely affected them. Through building of factories and less usage of fuel, the Germans in the frane have become what the Germans in Germany failed to achieve, self-sufficiency. With famine now heavily looming over the Soviets and their failed offensive leaving them licking their wounds, Stalin is forced into signing a Ceasefire, where Germany is restored to its original boders, however loosing all of Poland, easter. Prussia and the Balkans. While a victory for the Germans, the allies still fight on, now willing to use nukes, and the Soviets start their army build up again, ready to make all of Europe red once and for all. It would take a diplomat so great, even Bismark would seem incompetent next to him or her, to guarantee Germany's existence into the 50's and 60's
the only thing im thinking of is french partisians, surely there would be mass revolts if the french knew the soviets are near which could make the germans army struggle.
@@Jimarkus oh for sure, the moment the Soviets start rolling into Germany half of France would decide to try and rebel. This would need some heavy anti-communist positions in high power to even work. And even then it's relying on the fact that the Soviets don't just try again and again for a couple more years, and that the US and Britain keep failing. If any German Commander even managed to keep pulling it off for a year or two they would be known as one of the greatest military leaders in history.
Soviet army groups named after the location they fought in changed names a lot during the war, I assume at some point Soviet high command got really annoyed with the process and stopped renaming them.
When army group b goes full clutch lol. Though the idea of the Allies working with Germany to attack the Soviets is not that much of a fantasy, Churchill was kind of big on that idea after the war, and if the choice was cutting a deal with the Nazis vs Stalin taking all of Europe who knows what they would have done. Its true the Allies where only accepting total victory, and one hell of a total victory at that with their nuts demands of Germany at the time I think their behaviour might have changed if Overlord was a mess.
