I think anyone can relate to such a person. If they used the stories of some of the major crowned heads of Europe and aired more of them on TV instead of imaginary characters on soap operas these days, one can get not only a well-rounded education in regards to history and also find they share a lot in common with these people and some of the issues they had to live with and deal with on a regular daily basis. I often wonder what outcome England's empire would have been during the Tudor era had Henry VIII of England married Catherine of Aragon's older sister Juana instead. At least she would provide him an ample amount of children, including a male heir that he wanted so badly to succeed him. Spain and England would form not only a powerful alliance but also empires to boot. Catherine would have married Phillip the Handsome and ruled the Holy Roman Empire and perhaps have a decent brood of royals too.
