Welcome to episode SEVENTEEN of the Xtreme Onechunk Ironman: Canifis Edition. I appreciate that it's a little bit different to other versions of this that you've probably seen in the past due to having to do a few quests before starting, however, I hope that you can enjoy seeing what is possible with an Xtreme Onechunk account starting in Morytania.

A lot of people don't realize, you only have a ~63% chance of getting an item on or before drop rate. If you do 100 rolls of a 1/100 drop, there is about a 63% chance you get the drop AT LEAST once. That includes if you get it more than once. So it really is barely more likely than a coin flip you get it within the drop rate going 2-3x dry is not all that unlikely, like getting 2-3 tails in a row.

Going 2x dry is 14% probability. 3x dry is 5%. So i would not call it 'not at all unlikely'

63% and 50% is a bigger diff than you realize. The odds of 2 tails in a row is 25%. 3 is 12.5% With 63% going 2x drop rate is actually 13% or the equivalent of 3 tails in a row. Going 3x drop rate is 5%, not unheard of, but quite unlucky tbh

I'm not sure how this will make you feel, but I have been in the revenant cave for quite a long time as well trying to greenlog it, and I only need the Sceptre. So I would trade my viggora's for your sceptre in a heartbeat. Too funny how RNG kills us. I would recommend as a fellow iron, to use the avarice with your maple shortbow to stock up on food at some point.

Probably! Luckily, I probably would have died to those two guys anyway - the guys with Piety, Rigour, 75 Agility and good gear around the 112 combat range are pretty much inescapable for me! So I'm not too annoyed.... But you are right!

You inspired me to try some revs on my Ironman. The bot problem is worse than I realized from watching the vids. Early hours for US and there were 2 at every spot and more constantly hopping in and out.

Maybe not a helpful idea, but if you feel like you're guaranteed risking a second item you don't want to lose (like Avarice), could unequip and drop it then run away while the PKer is distracted chasing you, picking it up with your alt. Only if it's guaranteed to lose of course.

You should enable pk keys I believe it is in your chunk at ferrox and it would let you collect the keys and then die to your main account to open them

Quick question: wouldn't you need to do farming for any patch you unlock, considering raking is always available? Regardless which patch you unlock, you'll have access to raking xp, meaning you can always get farming to 15 to plant trees. This is the rule Limpwurt and Verf use, so what rule do you have that would prevent you from needing to do that?

He actually stated in his first episode that raking isnt a primary training method by his standards. So it is his choice to not include epic raking content :D

Construction: 24 oak planks multiplied by 60 xp is 1,440 xp per inventory. Assuming 2 laws per inventory (house tele and back) that's 18.1k laws. Considering your 1/16 rule, does this mean that in order to prevent having to do construction, that you would consider getting rid of your law rune stack? Iirc you can roll construction next.

I think the 1/16 droprate rule can safely be overruled by already having the item to be honest... In this case, I believe my Law Rune stack is 17.5k in real time, so I would probably do the construction grind if it came up!
