I’m so proud of you and your strength, this world is so hard, but you are clearly a strong minded person who will achieve anything in life you set your mind to.
hi, ive never seen your channel before, i just got reccomended this video. im trans aswell, although i am ftm. it makes me glad seeing other trans people being proud about who they are. you are so strong.
You talk a lot about just being yourself, but are you your body or are you your mind? Aggressively blocking your hormones, going fully against your biology, destructing and surgically transforming parts of that biology, only because you feel or think a certain way, is that really just being yourself? I don’t want you to feel regret about the decisions you made, but I feel like I have to say this, because you are promoting these behaviors to young teenagers, whose minds are, because of their hormonal development (like every teenager) in utter confusion and crisis regarding identity and perception/emotions in general, which is called puberty. While you may be happy the rest of your life with the destructive transformation that you choose, it can be a life damaging and deeply regretful experience for another person. Also the fact that you try to convince youngsters that their biological family might not be their real family, but instead the trans community is, is exactly the kind of toxic and manipulative behavior someone that is part of a cult portrays. You might want to look into what a cult is and how it operates. Even though the LGBT+ community is strictly speaking not a cult, it has a lot of overlap with it and in essence works the same. I hope you don’t interpret my criticism as hate speech, because it’s coming from sincere worry and sociological understandings. As a youtuber with a strong opinion and a growing audience that is anonymous to you, you also bear a responsibility for the things that you express. I hope you’re being aware of that. And I wish you peace and wisdom.
you guys love to bring up biology but lucky for you, youre talking to a long time biology nerd! neurobiology supports the existence of trans people both medically and psychologically. theres differences in mens and womens brains and trans people have shown to be less aligned with the opposite of their assigned sex, and more with their true gender, which is why being trans arguably can be described as a form of intersexuality per broad definition, therefore scientifically validating trans people your body doesnt define you, the soul isnt tied to it. when being yourself psychologists talk about embodying your soul, which in trans people may include transition. cisgender people get surgeries and do makeup and dress up all the time to embody their soul, then why do you have a problem with trans people? youre concerned about teenagers being influenced to be trans, but did you know that transgender teenagers get therapy partially exactly for this reason, to investigate the legitimacy? this is so that you dont have to have this concern "you try to convince youngsters that their biological family might not be their real family, but instead the trans community is" she isnt trying to convince them, shes telling them its okay. you can have a biological family and a chosen family, those can be the same but also different people. this happens in many cases for people who have been failed by their family, the trans community only makes up a very small part of this phenomenon in essence everything is a cult, so you shouldnt have a problem with queer people seemingly being one too i dont think your criticism comes off as hate speech, but your criticism does come of as very uneducated, or at least mislead. you seem to believe a lot of conservative rethoric that has no proof in science or ethics. sociological understanding is personal to everyone, but in the grand scheme of things, gender is a performance. if biological sex didnt exist, what would gender be? merely a performance based on a biological occurance, and this performance shouldnt be tied to your body but to your soul, otherwise it prevents from being your true self youre absolutely right, she does have great responsibility, and good on you for reminding her! i neither try to see the best, nor the worst in people, and in you i see genuine emotion, based on experience and surface level science, packaged into a message that you hope will reach. i think you should just change surface level science into deep science, its not only helpful in conversation but also fun! ive been studying psychology, neuorbiology and neurology, zoology and botanics as a hobby with the public material of universities for a while now and its been really fun and educational, would recommend! just make sure your sources arent too biased or display both sides of bias
