Not just punches a hole in the clouds, but cleared out ALL the clouds. Which punching a hole would be terrifying for Iris but changing the weather entirely is God tier to the point of being absurd. And he's just doing it as a flex.
Fr, I think why people never take note of feats like this is because it's seen so much in anime that they do not take the time to think up the necessary force to accomplish such.

14:19 I actually get more moved for Rose's anguish more each time I watch the episode. That wrapper really was all that was holding her together. We can joke and laugh at her simpness for Cid, but she really, REALLY has been through a whole, whole lot. Arranged marriage to someone clearly sketchy, her dad the King clearly changing and giving over authority to said sketchy douche, getting involved with Cult V SG drama while knowing almost nothing, beside what Alpha allows her to learn, then she fails to kill Doem which leads to her living on the run while the Cult and Knights' aorder are on her tail, THEN she has to kill her own father to free him and Oriana from the Cult's direct control. In the end, she only did not kill herself because of Shadow's provocation, and her dear wish to see Cid happy. In her spot.....I'd have lost my shite over the wrapper, 100%.
the i am atomic was an anime original in this episode so it was more for the dramatic effect of it being the final episode of the season, in the manga shadow obliterated them in a few seconds with his sword and left

technically he only blew up a city block first, then a 150 meter radius, and in neither of those explotions were pedestrian casualties... So I don't think he would've blown up the entire city while his persona is this powerful annonymous figure in the dark that doesnt show up
Claire gets way more screen time in volume 3 and 5 of the novels, so if they do season 2, the first arc of the season will feature her in the main spotlight.
The catgirl on the ship is Zeta the 7th shade, she does recon, so we don't see her a lot, we have seen a few scenes of her in the 20 episodes. She doesn't get a long with Delta, the cat and dog thing.
From my point of view, Cid really intended to blow everything up. In my opinion what kid Cid says was "Yamero"... A kind of conscience that told him "stop, before you regret it!" What a masterpiece! We look forward to S2😁
Imagine all 4 of Oriana love interest is one person. Cid getting lost in his Shadow Persona. Saying 'We' as if all of those different persona is a different individual.
When he was a kid he always wanted to be a Hero. Once he became "Kage no Jitsuryokjusha" (Skilled person in the shadows) he wants to be neither hero nor villain. Just a third party that is insurmountably powerful. Kid version definitely said "Yamero" from the lip reading, so he was stopping himself from being a villain
i kinda like the magic system in TEIS. there is no fire magic, ice magic, light magic....etc, but there is artifact that convert your mana into fire, ice, etc...instead of having magic circle here and there à la Gilgamesh.
I still like Alexia the most. Poor girl is completely powerless, nobody takes her seriously and even though she'd probably be 100% for joining Shadow Garden, she can't, because she's nowhere powerful enough.

I normally watch dubbed (yes ik you can flame me later) but this, this anime this one anime that at first everyone was saying was just some trash isekai changed everything for me. (Well some shows i still prefer to watch in dubbed Overlord being the main one) but this anime was such a unique way to go about the OP main character cliché" 12/10 waiting for more.
