Tip for animators: (I’m not an animator by any means but I found it helps) after you have all your key frames move the key frames around a little bit, this makes it look more natural as all of the limbs move at different speeds from each other

A really good thing to do when animating swords or something that uses one hand of the character, make the other hand move as well, not just stay in a single place, it will make the animation look way better
A hint, when u are using Moon animator and done the animation select like the charge of the punch or kick or wathever frame u want, select the frames u want Press 7 and here there are all the style personally i use Quad inout, it make the animation smoother,
You don't choose a specific easing style. You choose one that actually matches the animation. Either ease in, but quickly and bouncily, or ease in in general. You never choose one specifically. It'll look bad
You are very impressive , I am looking forward to make a Roblox game ,and I plan on doing everything myself as I do not want people to either steal my ideas nor to pay with money for animations I am extremely new to Roblox coding ,so I know nothing about it ,but I'm doing my best to get better ,your vids are giving me motivation to code and really work hard
How did it go? I've always been interested in developing on Roblox, but I never got farther than basic models in R-Studio. It was only recently I found myself actively trying to learn how to script, animate, and model like a pro now.

I personally think R6 animations are easier(ish) than R15 because you have to move less parts, although if you are trying to make a more advanced animation, it is easier with R15.

damn those fighting animations are really nice oh and if you want to get some animation base try to check a gameplay of Alternate Battlegounds (or games like that) they have some big animations and effects
Or rather, use them accurately. All the easing styles are your friends. If something looks off, you'd guess that either you're pose is wrong, or the easing style.
Honestly animating is surprisingly not hard, I dunno if I just picked it up easily but I made a decently well made gun reloading animation as my 3rd animation
Thanks for the video showcasing truly how hard it is to animate on Roblox, it’s not easy! In my mind it’s super easy but then you need to weld the sword. Heck the player arms aren’t even long enough to make them look realistic. I do FPS so I tried to use a viewport model by EgoMoose which is cool but all the animations on it are CFRAMED. Scuse me what. Me trying for hours to animate and it’s not turning out well 😢

As an animator always have tween on on unless it’s a teleport or something like that otherwise it will just look like the figure slid there also Big mistake he did with the sword he didn’t add a animation smear is Animation smear is like when you swing something and it makes a sound but you can see the sound following the thing you swung or just look up animation smear

hey mangodev if you didnt know in this part 5:04 these animations were made by roblox and not by the developer of the game because creator of the game just took a sword from the toolbox
5:15 this, sort of annoyed me. mostly because its the original way people used swords, not all sword games will have custom animations, they will mostly have the old one.
You should check out Alternate Battlegrounds. Use Dust!Sans, SSChara, GTFrisk, Cross Sans and Asgore. SSChara and Asgore highly recommended and also L0L!
