Botgrinder has posted a response on his community page, he said he posted it here but it got deleted, so hopefully you see it and understand he is cool with it all and accepts your apology.

Man this was strong! So true that these times are a challenge for our fpv hobby. All this militarization and new usecases let us make forget sometimes where true fpv started and what it felt like twelve years ago when trappy rushed through the mountains or Blackout mini H-quad showed us how to fly freestyle and what can be done wit those little machines. It was a great time and nice to see the development. Keep spreading the fpv spirit and the love for this beautiful hobby!

Thanks Justin. In some ways I don't think FPV is a community as much as it used to be. It was always a relatively small one, so our power to stand up to law changes and stuff has always been pretty small or maybe even negligible. It's too bad people can't see that this is also about all of our freedoms at large, and how much do we want the government to be involved in what we choose to do, be or say.

Product reviewers are an absolute MUST in this industry. Only a few of us can do it, and you do it well.

Some people hold on to resentment until the grave because it takes a lot to change or apologize for things that have been said or done. It take a lot of effort and trust to issue a public statement attempting to undo some of that resentment. At the end of the day, like Nick Saban and other great leaders have said, people won't remember what you say, but they will remember how you made them feel. We all say things we should have known better in the heat of the moment, hopefully, Botgrinder & Joshua will appreciate and accept your apology. One thing I am sure about though is that the Ban on DJI for the general public will never happen in America sales bring in taxes. Bans bring retaliation from China which will follow by banning something expensive from America that it deems as a potential threat (Phones maybe) Where I do see a ban is in the use of DJI products by police, army, navy, secret services etc

Self reflection is difficult, to apologize shows what type of person you are. Just one comment, you mentioned the number of views is going down let me express the reason I have cut back on the RC sites as a whole. First, I have been around RC since the early 70s and I noticed back then that the AMA doesn’t care about anybody but the AMA so I stopped being a member but currently hold membership. During the last few years with all the chaos about RF ID, I noticed something about RC RU-vidrs, a very limited number of them Ever mentioned anything about the FAA attacking us and those that did had, in my opinion, a bend toward only what it does to their business. We are a fractured group of hobbyist. You have the AMA and their fixed wing enthusiast, you have the racing enthusiast, you have the FPV enthusiast, and others all of which only care about their little click. when I go to an AMA field (not my home field) I have literally had pilots tell me because I don’t live in their ‘club’ area that I am not welcome, and another comment has been well we really don’t encourage FPV here but you can go down next to the boundary and stay away from us. I really think RC as we knew it is gone. We ignored the chance to stick together and fight back years ago before the FAA imposed new rules. In a short time I will not be physically able to fly but I sincerely hope the RC community will band together for the common good of RC and take back what we have given away

It's not just FPV that's in decline. It's all drone content. Period. Camera drones fpv drone videos are just not getting the views like they did when it was all new to the world. Look on RU-vid at what people are watching mostly: such as channels like SB mowing. This guy Spencer goes around mowing on abandoned lawn per week to help make the neighborhood look better. He doesn't charge the homeowner anything. But he's making a killing off of his RU-vid channel. He's got like millions of subscribers and gets millions of views. He has sponsors giving him free equipment and stuff. Other channels like Dirt perfect or let's dig 18 these guys run heavy equipment and clear land for houses and build ponds and different stuff. They get a lot of subscribers and views. I think the majority of people are just tired of watching the drone and fpv videos. It was pretty impressive at first but now it's getting old to people. Maybe it's time to start switching things up a bit by doing other things and adding drone clips into the video but not just making the videos strictly about drones. It's like having a go pro camera. Does the viewer really care about what camera you're using or they just want to watch something interesting from the camera. Same thing with a drone. It's just a tool that can be used to film content. But keep the content creative and interesting for the audience to watch.

You all have a huge contribution to the hobby. Without all of you this would be a difficult thing to pursue. Personally where views are concerned, I just don't have the money to dump on the hobby anymore, and things are 30% more expensive. I flew ONCE last year, and have not really been involved even in a watching sense. How sad.
