The burning hole is in Turkmenistan and is known as the soviet gate to hell. It's very interesting and there are many theories as to how it caught fire. My favorite is that a soviet scientist dropped a grenade in it expecting the methane to burn for a short time but it never went out and is now an internal flame of hell.

PRO TIP: Ctrl+Backspace deletes the entire word. That alone will noticeably improve your typing speed and save a lot of time. Also try to get used to Ctrl+Shift+Backspace (deletes all text), and Ctrl+left/right arrow (moves cursor left/right one word at a time). I'm amazed at how many otherwise tech savvy people don't use this, and once you get used to it you'll find the "normal" way annoying. Also there's loads of shortcuts for different situations but these are by far most useful when typing, especially on Sporcle.

Appreciate the shoutout to German Frühstück. We like it simple and hearty - meats, cheeses, bread, coffee, juice. If you like sweet stuff maybe a pastry.
