I Asked a Steam Train Expert to Test my Locomotive Simulator! 

I'd like to see the opposite of Noob V Pro, where Hyce gets all the time he wants to come up with and make a machine to do *something* then he tells you what the intended use is, and you get a very limited time to replicate it, then you compete. LOL

I think a series where you teach him scrap mechanic logic, like gates and stuff would be really cool. Would also teach viewers at the same time

Hyce has SOOO much childhood wonder, that I don't want a Noob v Pro series with him. INSTEAD I want a "From noob TO pro" series. I wanna laugh at him as you guide him on the path of learning all the micros and macros of this game. A co-op teaching experience. I wanna be proud of him with every 1 step forward, 2 steps back and 3 cups wizzed in. I wanna see his wonder and stimulation overdrive flow. You can't get that in a "competitive" setting. No challenges, just fundamentals with potential goals. Like, give a kid a box of crayons and see what he does with them. "Today, we learn bearings, as you can see, this is what I do with them, now, what comes to mind with this for you?" And if he draws up blanks, maybe give him some ideas. I'm excited for when he learns all the glitches, bot parts, and logic. Final exam would be a survival series.

It's great to see that Hyce is playing Scrap Mechanic with you, Kan! I hope to see him in more multiplayer videos of the game in the future. It would be really entertaining if the two of you could play together and do some co-op, especially related with trains since Hyce has alot of expertise steam locomotives! Edit: 1:26 Btw Kan the train mod you are missing is in the Modpack Legacy mod, as it was originally an old part made my Grego before being added to the Modpack. Newer mods, such as Xesau's train mod, have replaced the train wheels by Grego which is why they got removed from the main pack.

Id love more Hyce-Scrap Mechanic vids, a fun Idea could be hyce comes up with an idea and they you build something that fulfills it then you and Hyce walk through Hyce building his own version!

Noob v pro with another person who has a deep understanding of the mechanisms that make up the complex machinations you tend to make would be absolutely amazing. I’m not trying to say anything bad about anyone, but two engineering nerds working together to solve the same kinds of problems presented last season of nvp could produce some amazing content.

I'd love to see a series with you and Hyce where it's like you find a mechanical principles (i.e archimedes trammel) and Hyce has to try to build it once without help and then he gets to ask you 5 times to help him with it and once he thinks he has it he shows it to you and if it doesn't work, you show him how either close or how far away he was to getting it right. Makes it fun and educational for Hyce. 😁

I think rather than a Noob V Pro, a cooperative build challenge would be better. From there, you could get to the point where you could do a massive survival, if SM supports it, of you, Moonbo, Dapper, Kosmo, Hyce, and Scrapman for Chapter 2 release. But for the build challenge, it should be something along the lines of wanting to build something with Hyce bringing the ideas and you bringing the expertise of the game. Kind of like a "good cop/bad cop" thing, but rather it's more like inspiring noob and dream-shattering pro. Hyce, "What about doing this!?" kAN, "I mean we could, but the game won't do it and it'll take 3 or more hours of logic yeetery to get down and really doing this other earlier/simpler model of thing is actually more practical in Scrap Mechanic." Hyce, " . . . .. ooooh."

This is great. A collab to make a new simulator would be interesting. If Hyce enjoys the experience, perhaps a guest spot on a MM episode could be fun, even if Hyce just ends up being a judge or something while the MM boys attempt a train related challenge. Just have fun guys, it'll be entertaining no matter what.

I would NEVER say no to more scrap mechanic. It was the content I originally started watching this channel for, and I miss it quite a lot.

Would love to see a coop survival series, with Hyce. I can only imagine his reaction to farm bots 😂 you could transport all your goods with trains!

Moded Rail map Survival ? To explain mod the rail map/tile to work in Survival and then build trains to go loging, and mineing you base could be a round house or station. The idea of refinerys and resource collectors on a train😮

i understand that you dont want to use the noob v pro theme again. my suggestion is play survival coop while you teach hyce stuff while exploring the world. i love listening to you guys talk about engineering things.

Imagine physics changing irl and stuff build previously will just stop working. "Physics changed since that was built."

You guys could do a newb/expert survival. Newb "drives" the game, but the expert will answer questions without spoilers and help with speedy resource collection.

I think maybe instead of Noob V pro, it should be Pro teaches Noob. Teach Hyce how to build properly, how you approach the builds, etc. You're both engineers, so it should be reasonable, and I could learn something about it too :)

Hey Kan the train wheels that are missing might be in the modpack legacy support. There are some train wheels in there and I bet they got moved from the modpack to the legacy support version.

Noob v Pro idea. Both build the vehicle. If noob wins he wins. If not round two. Noob takes pro's vehicle and pro has something like two minutes to fix noob's vehicle. Of course assuming noob is trying to win in round one. Otherwise it doesn't make much sense

the train mod your talking about (i think) is called X's train mod, it has tracks and wheels, it also has a weird new piston that rapidly goes back and forth aswell as things like piston rods and driving rods.

you know, Scrap Mechanic is pretty neat, more so when you realize how it all started - the devs of SM did a minecraft port for xbox360, then it slowly evolved into scrap mechanic over time... long story short version of the story, anyway... Speaking of which: did you see the create mod for Minecraft? You can make trains in that one ^^

I think a v2 simulator would be good since you now know more about steam trains and could maybe include the number logic mod

I can see a thought process of "brake is forward" if you are stopping hard moment wants to throw everything forward, possibly making it easier to keep force on it? Haven't had a physics class since high school in early 2000s so I could be very wrong.

Idk how good of an idea this is but I'd like to see you guys play survival with the fant mod and maybe do battles against scrap man and the rest of the gang. You could spawn in an indestructible item that can be the flag for a capture the flag game

Let him try to fix broken creations. Like on the first car you are missing a wheel, on the second the engine is missing. Then there is a locked door where the controller doesn't function, and so on.

Something that would be cool is another one of the boys gets a noob and y'all do a 2v2 in things where the noobs make the design and y'all make it functional.

You should do a Pro V Noob challenge. Pro has a set time to show how to make something and Noob then must make it taking as long as they need. Later scrapman and another noob could join you in a team based challenge, you two V scrapmans team.

To save those trains with no wheels, it IS possible to edit the blueprints and change or remove them, so you can load them in again. :)

Don't do Noob vs Pro, do some sort of cooperative building thing, where you try to build stuff together instead of against each other

nice episode, at the end when you shot the boxes, have you thought of maybe doing a Galaga, Galaxia type of shoot them out of the sky kind of challenge game? be it spawners or pathed placements or lobbed by catapults? something random or even patterned with levels that increase. "Blast the Boxes" how many can you hit versus others in MPMondays. ps, congrats on passing the train inspection. LOL.
