@@neslind1 fair enough, but it is a lot of process information. The fact that it becomes automatic means processing capacity remains bigger, but you're still unconsciously processing said information (that what was controlled before, and is now automatic).
I know Ven is Canadian but the level of humility with which he approached this VOD review and how receptive he was to the feedback was a PvP developmental clinic in itself. I would love to see more of these from both of them taking Ven to rank 1 on sub. Also, turn about is fair play Ven should VOD review Pika on Mage. Gr8 content gentlemen, thank you.💪😈🤙
Are Canadians especially humble? I'm a Canadian and I'd say a good portion of us are not humble. We're considered friendly and polite but thats something of a misclassification as well. On initially meeting ppl this holds true but we're a judgy people who are pretty non-confrontational. If you are rude, dumb, classless, etc we more often than not give the sardonic, sarcastic friendliness that I think people fail to see. We're not big on public spectacle. So ppl won't call you these things, they'll imply it beneath a veneer of politeness. We project being humble but we're quick to act superiour if givem reason. There's not alot of tolerance for low effort intelligence.
it's crazy how Pika speaks like a sort of second language. He has meaning attached to EVERY single one of the rogue abilities. When he goes "I would have step, cheapshot, sepsis, evis, rupture fullblind the priest" etc etc etc - he has like a full mental map of exactly what those abilties would do in this situation. It's actually really hard to follow as someone that isn't a rogue main but it's interesting to hear someone talk like this almost as if it's an extension of their body/mind.
I give you props for wading through the mean whispers from others while learning sub rogue. That was my experience trying to learn rogue in Shadowlands at least lol Thanks for sharing your rogue journey with us! It's a joy watching you try so hard and do well. if you're talking about pika's comment at 18:50 he is talking about the Premeditation talent which makes the first Shadowstrike after stealth/dance generate 2 additional combo points.
@@Schiimonthat’s upon entering or gaining stealth/dance it causes your shadow strike to give 2 extra pts and 10sec of slice which he got because he just vanished it’s the purple spectre looking icon top row of buffs 2nd from far left you always have premed for your first shadow strike because it requires stealth to get and shadow strike requires stealth to use but he specifically says “shoulda sliced though it also procs your things and when you shadow strike you get more combo pts” slice has zero to do with shadow strike giving more combo pts even though that’s basically what pika said lol What he’s talking about is a passive called shadow techniques “your auto attacks have a 28% chance to generate 4 energy and store 1 combo point” which is why you want slice up 50% more attack speed means 28% chance happens 50% more often which was introduced in WoD i specifically remember coming from MoP and having to form a habit of keeping slice up for the combo point generation because that was never a thing before you didn’t even have to keep slice up you kept up recuperation which is what gave you energy and hp regen starting in cata (main reason rogues are busted in cata)
@@everythingtankpit Premeditation your next Shadowstrike [...] generates 2 additional combo points if Slice and Dice is active. If you do not have SnD, SS gives your SnD, if you have SnD it gives you 2 extra CPs.
@@everythingtankpit side note: Shadow Techniques was introduced in Legion as part of the Sub weapon. The energy regen from Recup was moved to Slice n Dice in MoP and completely removed in Legion.
@@Schiimon he already had slice up for the extra 2 cp and premed and he was already at full damn combo pts now why would you slice off full combo pts to generate an extra 2 on a shadow strike when you’re going to be opening with a stun from vanish into a dance which also generates full pts

And this is why people like Venruki are amongst the best in the world. He is always open to learning from better players. If you are learning Rogue, I couldn’t imagine a higher value asset than Pika. I don’t play anymore but good lord was I bad in Arena lol. I had fun though.
Also i think @ 19:00 hes talking about slice and dice proccing more combos from autos? I could be way off but i remember watching one of his streams one time. He talked about finisher priority

If you have to use rupture and septis as a sub rogue you mite as well go assassination rogue. Blizzard hasn't even buffed sub rogue at all for the next expansion.
That's why i never take wow pvp seriously, coz eventually you just gonna run into someone who puts the effort into managing all this shit at once and just mega outplay you, i prefer chill and pve and dungeons :D
Dude, stop being a baby and just make a rogue in cata. With the change to conquest cap it's so easy to gear up now, they even doubled honor from bgs. Id like to see you play a rogue but I don't play retail, i literally have no fckin clue whats going on.
Cast sequences. Is for people with disabilities or like only one hand or low finger dexterity and can not hit multiple button presses fast 3leno7gh to enjoy the game t9 remain t a competitive level with other players who can.not talking about kick botting
loved rogue back in BFA season 1. did good damage and was fun, cc was not mandatory. i donno what happened since than, assassin does like no damage in pvp. i can't just bully healers anymore like back in BFA, although game play didnt change much. not it's all around cc set ups and crap on rogues. a pure dps class, can;t bully a healer, what a nonsense. especially not being able to bully a healer in bgs.
