Make a similar one about the magic berry. It’s a berry that also alters your taste buds. It works differently, making sour things sweet. Lemons, grapefruit, etc. are delicious with it and not sour at all! They are sold fresh but also frozen, pretty cheap. Also pills for them exist.
The fact that when I used to make 'cake' from mud and leaves as a kid I used them as decors and I once got tempted to try it.....I pulled out the entire yellow part and ate it....(it becomes tiny single strings when u pull them out) and I described the taste as 'zing'....i dunno why
@@kaylaeluna8309agree, I live in place that still has some old things ppl still do, one is use alcohol as medicine, not for you to drink it but to put it on somewhere if you have wound, injury, mosquito bite, if ur ill… and it helps a lot
@@zachbreece2311 bruh, you mad over likes on a comment. Enjoy being a nobody who is too lazy to do stuff for themselves and is toxic over bs comment likes 😂
This plant was featured on an episode of CSI (i think) *years* and years ago. Some people were having a party where they ate this plant and then tried a bunch of different foods, and one woman was killed by someone who tricked her into drinking bleach. Since it didnt taste bad, like it usually would with normal taste buds, she wound up drinking a lot of bleach.
Ohhh that brings back memories i used to eat that all day when i was in village of nepal it was very common to find at any place and my friend and me used to challange who could eat it the most and i always won bc i loved that thing. Brings back memories it is called ‘marahati’ in nepali and we use it to make pickles.
Even a small bottle of Everclear like that would put some heavy drinkers on their ass. I've drank 10 shots of it before, had no clue the level of shitfaced I was going to be hit with. 😂
For those curious, the alcohol that he hates is grain alcohol, which is essentially 100% straight alcohol where vodka is around 40% EDIT:I could be a little off mb EDIT: turns out I have no idea what I’m talking about and I’ve been lied to
In Brazil, there is a similar plant called Jambú, people use it in some local dishes, but it can be used in liquors too, usually cachaça (distilled drink from sugar cane). So one time i drank a shot of Jambú cachaça, I thought that i was going to choke, the air instantly vanished from my lungs, and i didn't feel my tongue anymore. It's an awesome experience if you come to the North Region of Brazil, make sure to try it.
In Brazil we call them Jambu. It's used in many bottles of liquor such as cachaça and gin. If you infuse it in a hard liquor for about 2/3 weeks it should guve this numbness feeling to the whole bottle
"it enhances the sourness" Oh? you dare challenge me, mortal? I am the sour master. I have consumed all sour foods, without even so much as making an odd face.
I know Szechuan pepper dose a similar thing and these are actually the flowers of the plant Szechuan peppers come from (Szechuan peppers are the berries)
Yeah ! I was so surprised to hear about them on a English speaking vid. I never knew what to make of the flowers I guess now I can eat them and drink afterwards LOL
If you wanna try this for cheaper but it makes things SWEET: Miracle Berry Tablets. They come in a dark red packet and usually cost $10 per 10-pack of tablets. Theyre a fun novel experience if you get one and do it with friends. The effects last about 30 minutes after dissolving the tablet on your tongue. Lemon juice and apple cider vinegar will taste like sweet lenonade and apple cider (please water it down, just because you cant taste it doesnt mean you cant get acid burns from drinking straight lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. Cheese and pickles tastes way different. Nothing you eat will taste bitter or spicy.
Wait isn't the everclear from the terraria calamity mod? it's the potion that sells cirrus, the drunk princess and that gives you like 25% damage but decreases 10hp life regeneration
i grow these because i think it’s funny to have people try them lmao. they’re also knows as the toothache plant because they used to be used to numb mouths!
