You can score free kick with the 'B' button too when we take free kick from in front of the goal post or a slightly right or slightly left depending on the shooter that whether he is right footed or left footed respectively. The ball would curl on the ground and you'll score the free-kick

When The freekick taker is near the box and infront of the goal use the direction and hold b to full power then it will shoot a ground shot and boom its goal(It only curves w.r.t the footedness of the taker) hope it helps.. Love from India
