Me neither hahaha😅 Editing the Silver sprite was taking a little longer and school was getting busy, so I wanted to try something simpler in the meantime. The Adventures Manga saga will continue!
In terms of other runs, I like the manga series as you turn it into a fun narrative and based on most other nuzlocke channels it’s seems like you have a nice niche. Although I do still enjoy monotype nuzlockes if you wanted to try one, although appreciate its super over saturated content these days. Whether manga or monotype would like to see some gen 4 and gen 5 action in the future.
I really appreciate the insight! I agree with your message, my channel definitely hit its mark from the niche of manga videos. The format of the manga gives them a nice narrative that monotype, randomizer, shiny runs simply don't have. I'm working on the Silver video, and I'll be working my way up to gen 4 and 5. I'm excited for gen 5 bc after Red/Yellow, I read Black's adventures the most.
Thank you!! I can't wait to try his team! I'm planning the route and modding HGSS so I can get that video out for you guys! Appreciate you being here!!
I just found your channel today and I'm surprised you're still fairly new, the quality is really good for such a new channel! I subbed and luck forward to more :)
The algorithm completely screwed you over there ! I didn't get notified for the video, even though I have the bell on, talk about unlucky :/ Watching now, will update with my thoughts in the comments
not the biggest fan generally of having random items and abilities, it can lead to broken combinations really early WAIT IT'S A SHINX LETS GOOOOO I LOVE SHINX
Overall, quite a cool run ! Unfortunately, it's hard for me to be invested into randomizers, but as long as you had fun that's what matters! It's hard to construct storylines and have story beats when everything is random, it would maybe help to bring some sort of foreshadowing ? You did try that with Steven's Ace, but since it was Manectric with just electric moves it kinda fell flat on its face. Also, with randomizers, trainers lose the pre-built moveset if they're supposed to have them. as a random example, Winona's dragon dancing Altaria no longer exists. At least, ORAS are pretty easy to begin with. Editing was great though ! Think of streaming on twitch one day ?
Hey Stylish, I really appreciate your input. I completely agree, the storyline is harder to build, and also the algorithm hated this video! I wanted to try a randomizer nuzlocke for a video because I play them casually all the time, but it's probably better as a one-off, maybe as a stream. I was planning to make a post talking about it more but I will start steaming soon, once personal things in my life clear up! Probably through RU-vid live, I'm not too sure. Appreciate your support so much💗
This was a fun watch! I actually kinda prefer the "normal" Nuzlockes over the Manga ones. They're fun, but these are obviously more random and you aren't super restricted. One style I'd love to see you do is a Wedlocke! Wedlockes are essentially a method where you pair a couple of pokemon together (the general rules set to restrict it even more is only males and females can pair but obviously you don't need to do that if you don't want) And you can only swap between that pair until they both die in battle. E.G: Say you caught a female bidoof and you'd have a male piplup, they'd be wed together. You can't use anyone else in the battle save for them unless you obviously wanna switch around the other 2 pairs in the overworld. If only one partner dies the lone widow can remarry obviously and you'd give them a new partner Look up Marrilands wedlocke rules If you'd like more info. That might be too restricted for a randomizer nuzlocke tho idk
